BitFenix Launches The M-ITX Portal Chassis
Built within a dual-chamber design for ease-of-access and a unique aesthetic, BitFenix's latest M-ITX chassis is as visually striking as it is functionally impressive.
Making use of an inverted layout throughout a two-piece shell, the BitFenix Portal uses a ball bearing runner design in order to provide users with an easier approach to assembling their build. Within the internal compartment, users can install up to two 3.5" hard drives and a single 2.5" drive, accompanied by an SFX power supply and a Mini-ITX motherboard. Differing from most chassis on the market which adopt this physical format, the BitFenix Portal gives way for large air coolers and all-in-one liquid coolers, providing users with clearance for a single 120mm mount towards the front of the chassis.
Where the Portal proves ideal for building high-end rigs comes in the way of support for full length graphics cards. As the chassis makes use of an inverted layout, the GPU sits towards the roof of the chassis seeking its own source of ventilation, with an optional window should owners of the chassis which to display their hardware. Hosting a look that's Sci-fi within it's visual presentation, the exterior shell features a power/reset switch, two USB3.0 and two USB2.0 connections, as well as HD Audio MIC and Headphone inputs.
Crafted from a premium grade of aluminum, resting on two highly strengthened legs, the BitFenix Portal remains suspended off the ground, adding to its futuristic look of sleek curves and bold colours.
Available today in colour choices of Black or White with options for a GPU window, the BitFenix Portal is priced at £119.99.
