Overclockers Guide: All the alternative online gaming events you don’t want to miss this Summer.
There are many events that have been cancelled this year with one of the biggest in the gaming calendar being E3 2020. With no digital alternative, many game developers and publishers have set up their own online events to showcase what they’ve been working on the past year. The list is long and the dates are sporadic so we’ve put together this guide to make sure you don’t miss any announcements from your favourite studios.
Many of the following events come under the Summer Game festival event which runs from May until August 2020. The Summer Game festival was created by Geoff Keighley, who had quit from organising E3 2020 and decided to create an event that will work as “a central repository of everything that’s happening this summer in games”. There’s plenty happening with digital video game events from publishers, select playable content and in-game events all on the calendar.
