Free Games this week:

Starting on the 9th of July, there are three news games available to keep for free on the Epic Games store. The first game is Killing floor 2 which was released on Steam in 2016 but has recently joined the Epic games store. The gameplay is simple and repetitive but great fun if you love first-person shooters and slaying hordes of zombies. It’s best played with friends when you join either the 6-player Co-Op or 12-player VS Player mode. The second game free this week on the Epic store is Lifeless Planet: Premier edition. Lifeless Planet is a third-person action-adventure game that features an old-school sci-fi story and 20 unique environments to explore. Equipped with a limited-use jet-pack and a mobile robotic arm, you must use your skill and knowledge to solve puzzles and unravel the mystery of a distant planet with signs of life in the form of a deserted Soviet-era Russian town. The trailer is certainly intriguing, and you can experience the game through and cinematic cut-scenes. The third free game from Epic is the escapists 2 where the aim of the game is to break out from prison after secretly planning your escape. You can play online with friends in a group of up to 3 and work together or play competitively to see who can make it to freedom first. Throughout the game, the prisons get tougher, which means creativity is key, and there are objects and unusual tools to tackle almost any prison escape. All these games can be claimed on the Epic Games store until the 16th of July. I’ve saved the best till last and Ubisoft will be giving Watch Dogs 2 away during the upcoming Ubisoft forward. Several new Cases Launched this week

If you’re upgrading your PC case or building a new system and need good airflow you should look at the new products from Phanteks and Kolink. The Kolink Citadel mesh is a Micro ATX case with a focus on airflow and performance. The included aRGB fans and hinged tempered glass panel make it the perfect place to show of your hardware. The PSU shroud makes it easy to hide any unsightly cables and despite the compact size hardware support is well rounded. You can install up to a 280mm radiator and there is room for large GPU’s and plenty of drives for storage. The Kolink Mesh Citadel can be preordered for only £59.99. Phanteks are well known for their high-quality PC cases and the P500A has just been added to the eclipse series. There are three variations of the P500A available in either Black, white and with or without RGB starting at £89.99. The main features are excellent airflow and dust filtration, a tempered glass side panel, built-in drain port, and the possibility to install dual systems within the midi tower case. There are endless build options inside the P500A and many review sites have rated it highly. I’m glad to see more manufactures producing high airflow options with an attractive well thought out design. Learn more by clicking the thumbnail.

Bethesda teams up with Amazon for Fallout TV series

Fans of the extremely popular fallout franchise are sure to be aware of the Vault-tec edition noblechair amongst many other spin-off products and Bethesda have now dished out the Fallout licencing rights to Amazon studios. There aren’t many details that have been announced but we do know the episodes will be available on Amazon Prime and Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Jonah Nolan will be involved in the production. The atmosphere and storyline behind fallout is what helped to make it such a popular game franchise and I’m sure the TV series will be well worth the wait.
