Used to wonder what the fuss was about

On my Coolermaster Sedion AIO I used to use 2 coolermaster 120mm fans (the stock and a jet flo), for a while I had to put up with an ear defening noise coming from my computers cpu fans which if cm's site is to be believed can be 40db plus.
Decided I couldn't put up with it much longer so decided to see what the big deal on noctuas were about and went for 2 replacements.
Now I can hardly hear the computer next to me, will be using these again in the future

Silence is golden

Bought two of these to replace the two fans supplied with a Corsair H100i. Before it was like sitting next to a hoover, now pure bliss.

Quality

Great Fans, quiet, great static pressure!

Don't forget they were made for radiators, heat sinks and the like, not bad as a case fan at all, but they are specialised for static airflow, so if you want a case fan I'll get the non-P 120mm Noctua fan instead and save some pennies!!!

Perfect for water cooling, and CPU heatsinks push/pull!

awesome

bought 3 of these to replace the fans in my lian li and to add to a h50. these things push enough air and are extremely quiet. (anything above 20DB annoys me) im a pc silent freak.

also comes with 2 adapters which im sure would make them COMPLETELY silent

Not worth the extra Part 1

I just received 2 of these fans, installed, did a few comparison runs of my computer..and the conclusion? So far very disappointed. Why? I really dont think they are as good as a

Not worth the extra Part 2

at 900 they are still not quiet enough and at the same time they fail to push more air than any 2 fan setup, but for the half of the price of these Noctuas..at 1300 max speed they are simply too loud,at 1100 bit less and thats the speeds I let them spin in the end...there is a small, not significant difference in using the suplied fan screws or the silicon noise compensators, but unfortunatelly it wont save the impression..by the way,one of these silicon compensators caps simply came apart and I was really careful when pulling the thing..
My final thoughts: Not impressed and not worth it..they are not bad but you can definitely do the job much cheaper...

Great Fans

Excellent fans, very quiet, great airflow.

very good but

but not as good as the Akasa Apache. Tried both fans at full speed on a Megahalem (just idling not on load) and the Apache cooled the CPU 3 degrees lower. Both very quiet fans, the Apache is also PWM whilst the Noctua uses in-line adapters to lower speeds from 1300rpm to 1100rpm and 900rpm. The little vibration compensators (the 4 rubber things that are used instead of the screws for fixing to a case) aren't very strong ... I pulled the end off one of them when mounting in a case, the longer ones used by Apache are much stronger.

Exceeds expectations

Got four of these to replace the fans on my quad radiator. These are so much more quieter and shift alot more air. They can handle the pressure against the radiator no problem.

Does exactly what it says on the box!! What more could you want from such an amazing product?! Grab some now, you won't be disappointed!
