Grid+ V2 Internal Digital 6 Fan Controller

GRID+ V2 combines intuitive software and variable installation options to provide a simple, unintrusive solution for digital fan control. With CAM support, the GRID+ V2 allows you to name your fans and adjust your fan speeds easily using versatile preset or custom fan profiles.

Six fan ports line the sides of the GRID+ V2, while two included splitters allow you to control up to eight fans using a single GRID+.

- Custom fan naming allows you to effortlessly control specific individual fans using CAM software.
- Preset fan profiles allow easy control, while our custom fan profiles allow you to create your own fan curve and have GRID+ V2 raise/lower fan speeds based on temps.
- Full mobile control is planned to be released in 2016 on Android and iOS through our CAM Mobile platform.
- Keep your PC safe with built-in over/under-volt and short circuit protection.
-The small form factor of the GRID+ V2 allows you to discreetly install it anywhere in your case, making cable management easy.

An awesome purchase, But i understand the issues.

Personally i found the GRID+ to be an awesome investment, CAM is a great piece of software (WHEN IT WORKS). I previously struggled to set up my HUE+ with CAM, cam wouldn't start, refused to launch, crashing after updates. eventually i managed to fix that issue, after overcoming that its been a great piece of software to work with and gives me serious control of all six of my internal fans. Would i recommend it? Get CAM working first (Just the gpu/cpu monitoring free part) before you consider it as a purchase, people have had major issues with the software (me included) but once you get past them its pretty on point!

Going to bin it - not happy

Im so dissapointed in this product i dont wanna waste time asking for a refund. . .
The hardware runs the fans with noticable fan reving.
one day upon installing the software it fails "error has occured and needs to close" reinstalled, same thing.

I would reccomend looking at other controller,
the one star is for the included fan splitters

Great.... let down by poor software

The fan controller itself is fine, it's only 3 pin but it controls my 4x EKWB Vardar fans fine. The biggest let down is the software however. Early versions of CAM were maybe less pretty, but they were stable and worked well, but the later versions, for me, do not even open, rendering my fans useless. My PC is quiet, so I only found out it wasn't doing it's job when my GPU kept crashing as temps hit over 80 (water cooled!). Whatever's happened to CAM it's really gone down hill, until they fix it I cannot recommend this fan controller as it's effectively a brick.

Good concept, but software needs work

Would I buy this again? - Yes, for the functionality it adds to my setup.
Would I recommend it to a friend? - Not with the CAM software in its current state. (V3.2.26 at time of writing)

The Grid+ V2 is a good solution for me as it allows me to control my case fans based on GPU temperature in a case with no bay for an external fan controller.
The controller itself is a very neat unit which works well and gives control in stepped increments of 10% fan speed, but using the CAM software it runs on is a frustrating experience. It has a lot of bugs which simply should never have made it into a released product. The most annoying is that it frequently stops responding to changes when editing the fan curves and it's a lottery whether it saves anything. At least the unit defaults to 40% fan speed when not communicating with the software, so any glitches aren't disastrous.

Overall, despite the flaws it does work (eventually) and I am happy to keep it as part of my system.
Everything wrong with the Grid+ V2 it is due to the CAM software. Otherwise it is a very promising product which I would entirely recommend it IF they ironed out some of the software bugs in future updates.

Very bad

Well. I theory that little piece of equipment should be exactly what you need. And maybe it is. If it would come with software that works. I build a high-spec new pc with NZXT Grid+ V2 on board. After probably around 25 minutes (sic!!) I manage to install software. Installation was stopped few times or was becoming unresponsive.
Right now I can't use software at all. I just can't lunch it. After playing with it and tweaking all the modes and random speeds of fans it's all gone. After few hours. Now fans are changing speed randomly for no reason when computer is idle. Sometimes some of them are stopping for few seconds. Disaster. I have tight SLI setup in my rig and I really have to observe temperature of the upper card. I thought that tool will do the job. Useless. Utterly useless.
