I always had good experiences with OCZ SSDs, so decided to buy this as a budget gaming build, what a let down this PSU is

1. Straight out of the box there is a rattling noise, sounds like a loose screw inside the unit, cannot shake it out
2. The 8-Pin ATX connector is way too short for a Corsair 200R case, it only just fits to a GA-Z87-HD3 if you stretch it over the top of the motherboard, it is impossible for feed it behind the motherboard and back up to the top corner (about 4 inches too short)
3. The 24-Pin ATX connector did not fit to the board (I've built many PC's before and never had this issue), it may just have been poorly manufactured

I'm sure this PSU is good for a mATX build but definitely not ATX if you want a tidy system

Sent it back to OCuK and purchased a Corsair PSU

Quiet as a mouse ( a dead one)

Very impressed been a while since I bought a so called silent PSU from OCZ this one is however so quiet I thought it was broken I had to put my hand behind it to feel the flow of air.
Voltages are all great with digital MM, plenty of connectors great value for money.

Very Good!!

Got this PSU one when my other failed.

So far anything seems great it run's cool and its very quiet, Its feel's well built, nice and heavy.

One problem I found is it's large size compared to my other PSU, Had a few problem's getting into my MATX case with my large blu-ray drive.

But it did fit in the end, Modular cables too are great in a small case. its happily powering the following spec:

AMD Phenom 9550 processor
Samsung spinpiont F3 1TB HDD
Peak 4890 1GB graphics card
4GB's DDR2 Kingston & Corsair Ram
OcUK Brushed Aluminium Blu-Ray Drive
Asus Xonar D2 sound card

I'm hoping this should last me a few years. Unlike my last one for only

Great PSU

Quiet, looks good, cabling modular so choose only cables you need. Cables all sleeved to help keep out of the way.

Great PSU would recommend.

Overclocker's service and order process just as good.

Nice and quiet

Nice PSU, have used them several times with little hassle.
When coupled with quiet components it forms part of a beautifully stealth system.
Great value.

bought in anticipation for a future build after my 8 year old generic 250w psu started to make some dodgy noises.

ill start with the cons:
i fitted it into a thermaltake va3000bwa, and its clear this PSU has been designed with larger cases in mind, as the hard wired cables are veeeery long in comparison.
Also a bit of a pain to fit (although i thank thats more of a case design issue)

the pros:
once id got the aforementioned huuuge cables out of the way, having a modular psu really started to show its advantages
overall system noise is about the same, but the barely audible but still annoying whine from the old psu fan is now gone. power the system up with all other fans off and it is REALLY quiet.

once fitted, i was quite chuffed with it.
ordered online and collected in store 2 days later. it was on the desk when i got there, and i was in and out in less than a minute. argos, eat your heart out. cheers ocuk

Pretty gd PSU

This PSU should be enough to cope with many different configurations. It is quite big so be prepared - it needs some better case than e.g. ModeCom for

Great PSU

Very good PSU.It can handle all you want to put in your gaming rig except SLI and CrossFire with high end graphics card, yes this says "SLI Ready" but you can do SLI or CrossFire with cards that require only one 6-pin connectors. And its also very silent.
