yes.

It is enough to power my watercooled and overclocked i5 2500k, with 8gb 1600mhz, a power hoarding gtx480, 1 ssd, 2 hdd's, and a fair few usb devices.

Nice quiet unit, good cables (however one or two of the 'essential' hardwired cables are unneccesary)

Top quality PSU, OCZ have never let me down

Excellent

Had this PSU now for over 2 weeks. Fantastic product.

Sean 2011-01-24

Excellent PSU

Having read the reviews I thought I would also leave my thoughts. I have been using this PSU for a year now and its excellent PSU.

Reading Conns in below review I would have to partly agree on one of them. The 8 pin CPU lead is short if your PSU is at bottom and CPU lead plug at top - could be issue if full tower case. but in my 900 case it was fine.

I did buy

Very good

Genuinely cannot fault this psu...looks great..runs silent...modular..no worries

Ross 2010-08-21

Good but.......

Bought this as part of my first build and would sum it up in the following:

Pro's
-Modular is certainly the way to go and I only put in the exact leads I needed
-Braided cabled look very smart
-Well packaged and looks good
-No problems and is running fine

Con's
-8 pin CPU lead too short and I had to buy a extender cable otherwise is was tight across the GPU and looked awful
-Only 2 PCIE power connectors (even though it says SLI ready) which I asked OCZ about and their technical said it is only SLI ready for mid range cards not ones that require a 6pin and 6+2pin but this can be resolved with IDE to PCIE adaptors
-The SATA power cable could have done with being a little longer as I had to turn the HD upside down to get away with only using one lead instead of 2 (for better cable management)
-Comes with a CPU power 4 pin and 8 pin hard wired plug so you have to try and hide the 4pin lead behind it to make it look good inside

All in all I am happy but the Con's led to 3/5

XFire

Had one of these for a year, only recently upgraded to a larger PSU.

I have 2 HD4870's in crossfire, used one of the 6 pin PCIe connectors on each and Molex to 6 pin adapters to provide the additional connections. Worked fine :-)

Good Overall

Great Psu, i also upgraded for the extra headroom over my silent pro 500w, currently running 955, 5850, 7 case fans,H50 , 2 cathodes, hdd, dvd drive, no problems.

Only thing that let me down slightly was it only has two pcie connectors, so if i want to xfire soon i will be replacing my psu again.

Awaiting a replacement

While this PSU was working I was very happy with it, unfortunately some two weeks after installation the whole thing randomly blew. No surges, no overconsumption of power, nothing. Resetting it took out the fuses for my house.

I await a second so I can be convinced of OCZ's reliability.

Good price and spec

Originally purchased for the extra headroom (previous PSU was a 525W modular) and powers a GTX 260, dual core E6750, 3 sata drives and 4gb of DDR2 without any issues at all. All rails are nice and stable.

All in all, a good spec PSU for the money but it required a little persuasion and effort to fit into the top of a Coolermaster case but you only fit these things in once in a while.

TOP NOTCH

GREAT PSU BUT IF YOU ARE USING A COOLERMASTER STORM CASE U NEED TO BUY AN 8 PIN POWER ADAPTER EXTENSION CABLE SO YOU CAN ROUTE IT BEHIND THE BOARD OTHER THAN THAT EXCELLENT AND TOP DELIVERY THESE GUYS NEVER LET YOU DOWN

Good PSU

Good PSU - most of the main leads (CPU, PCI-e, SATA) are fairly short though and if you're planning to route cables to allow you to keep the case tidy it could be a problem. Just about long enough for my RV02.

This is 52amps on the +12v which is the same as the 650w Corsair. You'd probably get away with running an overclocked CPU and a couple of 4870's or similar.

Great Power Supply

This is a great power supply the modular leads allowed me to run all the power cable neatly around me nine hundred case.

Would highly reconmend this power supply it is great value for money.

Haydn 2009-09-11

OMG

Brilliant PSU although the cpu power connector is a little short if you have a bottom monted PSU

Mark 2009-09-10

Good PSU, Short Cables

As other reviewers have said the CPU power cables are a little short for bottom mounting.

Suggest purchasing this alongside to avoid delays to build

Other than that its a solid PSU

andy 2009-08-22

Powerful quality and good value

This psu has to problem powering 2 ATI 4890s and my Q6600 is running at 3.4GHZ.

Matthew 2009-08-20

Good Buy

This PSU in my opinion is very good, it looks good inside the CM Sniper case. it also comes with a good range of wires (because its modular) and its own little bag to keep everything in. Overall, very good. Only problem was 4 pin EATX power cable was not long enough to reach connector on MB, however phoned Overclockers and they told me how they did it. It worked a treat. Would defo buy if u are after a good PSU at a resonable price

Danny 2009-08-04

Impressed

This PSU in my opinion is very good, it looks good inside the scout CM case, and it is very well priced. it also comes with a good range of wires (because its modular). Overall, very good.

minhaj 2009-08-03

uhmmm 4stars

Well its an amazing psu as far as it job goes, my only problem is that its not 100% modular, the cables are sleeved which is good but theyre very rigid and hard to move, ive also got one 4 pin cable just sitting around which has annoyed me.

To be honest you cant do better for the price!

Thibor 2009-08-02

Great Idea

My first modular psu
Great idea but poorly done
tbh this is a rly good psu for the price and i cant fault it
my only little niggle with it is ,the cables u get with it ! they are either to long and so i still got the wire jungle in my spare drive bay or cos my case has the psu at the bottom the 8 pin mobo connector is a little short to get round 2 sli cards tho that wasnt a huge prob as i got an extension from oc the next day

Pete 2009-07-31

Nice and easy

Quite simply a nice neat little psu that is easy to install, has modular cables and is reasonably quiet.

Excellent value and service would definately get another.

rich 2009-07-28

very good

for the money nothing else can beat this psu. not only does it power my gtx 275 for now but it can coupe when i gt a second one in sli.

Max 2009-07-22

Great Product

Fantasti PSU, does everything i need it to.

Powers my i7 920, 6gb of ram, 260GT, SATA, and 5 fans haha, fine with no issues.

Still brand new so hopfully nothing goes wrong with it.

I do suggest you buy! for the price its amazing, even with i7 etc you dont need a 1000W!.

Kyle Choularton 2009-07-18

Fantastic

I am truly amazed by this power supply, came in a lovely box, and has a nice carry case for the modulated cables. has all the appropriate wires included.

as promised this power supply literally makes no noise and manages to stay cool.

my only concern is that the sticker on the side was upside down on mine, but nothing major
