Nice and cheap

I've had this card for around six months now at the time of upgrading my system from a single core Intel P4 3.4GHz with an NVidia 6800 AGP card and 2 GB of RAM to an AMD Phenom 965 quad core at 3.4Ghz, 4GB 1066Hz RAM and this Palit card.
All was well, but about a month ago, demanding 3D applications (games) would sometimes have their vertices transformed to totally wrong positions, temporarily causing "spikes" and making the games look awefull. I updated mobo BIOS, re-installed OS, downloaded latest drivers aswell as trying older ones from NVidia and Palit's drivers, cleaned the system from dust, checked temps of gpu under load (all OK), PSU is a decent 750W corsair... to no avail. I then underclocked the GPU now using VTune and all is good again. I won't be buying cheap cards in the future.. but I was skint at the time and this seemed like a bargain.. a massive speed increase from my old creaky NVidia 6800 :D .. PS With this puppy, I can run stuff in 1920x1200 with no problems.

Excellent Card

Bought this card today and being a total novice at upgrading was Very surprised at how easy the install went. This card is fantastic! I upgraded from a Evga 320mb card and the difference is blistering fast and silky smooth. OC reception staff were very helpful as always 10/10. Have played CODMW2 and the beta of BFBC and its blown me away how the increase in graphics can change the game play!. If your going to buy a budget card this is the baby.

EVGA 780i sli mobo

You wont be dissappointed

A really big card

Never got to try out this card, as it ended up being too big to use in my system due to my motherboard's layout. Unfortunately, if there wasn't such a long plastic cradle for the fan on this card it would have fit and I'd be enjoying delicious graphical goodness by now! :(

This card came highly recommended and probably with good reason - but check your motherboard's layout before you order so you can avoid being disappointed like I was :(

The Bargain Beast

I've had this card since Christmas and it's an absolute beast! Just got access to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Beta and it runs everything on full with no drop in frame rate whatsoever. 5Stars all round!

One of the BEST

Well I put my hand in my pocket and recently bought two of these babies. Oh WOW what a difference one card makes compared to my old 8600 GTS. He he he lol. Had a bit of difficulty understanding the very poor manual, but even the one on the disc was no help. It does not state any where that you MUST supply the grafix card with TWO power connections. After phoning the guys at OCUK, they put me right and they work amazingly well. Thanks to all at OCUK for their invaluable help. If you want two grafix cards and don't want to spend the whole of your savings, I suggest buying these. You will have fun.

Excellent Card

I wasnt expecting this kind of performance. Previously owned a 8800gts 640mb. Crysis at 1920x1080 on very high settings 4x AA is very playable. Fairly quiet as well. HDMI out is a nice touch too.

Good bang for buck

Just put this in to replace my old 8800 gts and went in without any bother. it plays Grid and Batman at max settings at 1680x1050, so I'm v pleased. My only annoyance is the fact that the card has to be powered by 2 6-pin connectors which is odd as I thought this was a low consumption card. Not a biggie as (mentioned below) they include a molex to 6-pin connector should you only have 1 6-pin connector from your PSU. Overall it's a great card for the money.

Cheap as Chips

I just got me 1 of these to replace an aging 7900gt. Being only 85quid, well thats just amazing value for a 9800gtx+(250). Idle temp 43C(downclocks). Max temp hit 64C @ 35% fan speed. No goodies included with this one. I'm very pleased with this card, WoW has never dropped below 30fps even in heavy AOE in 25man raids. This has to be the best budget card on OCuk. 5 stars.
Thank you OC for your great service as usual. xxx

Emma 2009-11-23

spot on

got this in a system for about 500 quid plays crysis on high no lag plays all my other games on full its well worth the small fee it costs down side is the fan is a bit loud but i suppose its working hard to cool down chip this is the only reason it did not get a 5
