Samuel 17 CPU Cooler

In the Old Testament of 1 Samuel, Chapter 17 tells a story of an ordinary man named David whom nobody believed in. Great performance for the size!

I'm using this to cool an AMD FX-8350 overclocked to 4.6Ghz, with a BitFeinx 120mm PWM fan screwed to the top of it. Compared to the AMD cooler that idled in the high 50's WITHOUT overclock, this keeps the CPU below 50C WITH the overclock. It idles in the mid 20's with an ambient room temperature of around 23-24C.

It has amazing performance for the money and size. This is very slim - even with a fan on top of it it's barely 10CM tall all in. It's keeping a heat generating monster CPU cool, so if your using this for an Intel CPU then you'll defiantly be ok!!!

Really easy to install too.

Amazing cooler for the price

Bought this cooler to replace my old stock Intel one and all I can say is WOW.
It has taken my temps under load from around 70c to just under 50c when paired with a 120mm Akasa black Apache.
Would deffo recommend this cooler to anyone looking to replace a stock.

Great for ITX setups

Recently upgraded to an I5-3570 in my mini-ITX rig. I only have a small case (Lian Li Q011) and the stock cooler was noticeably louder than with the previous I3. Changed it for this and a 12cm Noctua fan. Now there is no noise, even under load my Asus P8H61-I controls the fan speed and it only needs to goto 50%, about 500rpm, to keep temps at 60 degrees. Its quite a tight fit on ITX so check your board can take it, especially if you plan to use the PCI-E slot. I fitted a full size graphics card with the cooler in place. It also clears my normal size ram and there is clearance to attach mainboard header connections such as front usb and pci-e power connector.

I am well impressed!!!!
