Compact and Quiet

by Haravikk star star star star star

These are great fans for an SFF build where space is at a premium; airflow is solid but be aware that the static pressure on these is quite low. I'm using two on a radiator in a push/pull arrangement and they're quieter than the 25mm thick fans I tried (including a Noctua), and they're near silent (the radiator pump is noisier). Only issue I ran into was I experienced a lot of "gusting" with the fans spinning down prematurely only to have to spin up to high speeds to compensate, but once I tweaked my motherboard's fan control I was able to smooth that out.

Quiet but not silent

Contrary to what the other reviewer said, I don't find this fan to be silent. That said, I have the computer open on the desk with virtually nothing else making a noise; hidden in a case under a desk it would probably be difficult to hear. I hear a whooshing noise when running it at a moderate speed, or at low RPM it continually starts and stops, which is a little annoying (may be the low-noise adapter, but three other PWM fans I've tried don't do that).Note: I'm nit-picking; it's still pretty good.
