Outstanding case for the money

Used this case for my first new system in nearly six years, and was amazed at how much you get now at the budget end.

OK the metal isn't super thick, but everything fits really well and clearly a lot of thought has gone into the design. The drive enclosures, easily removable mesh covers and cabling provision are all really good.

I would imagine you'd have to go quite a bit further up the price scale before you get something substantially better.

Superb case before you even consider the

Review 1 is relatively spot-on, but for me this is definitely a five star product when you consider the price. I bought for my brother's build after this was one of the budget cases reviewed by Custom PC's mega test which scored very highly. Even with that recommendation it has vastly exceeded expectations.

It's metal throughout other than the front grill so there's no cheap looking plastic on show. Its feels like a solid, quality build, and agreeing with the first reviewer that premium cases have a thicker metal, this does, however, give this case a nice lighter feel to it. Plenty of room to work in, noting that I didn't use water cooling either.

Tool-less drive bays, and easily removable front cages too. There is also a nifty little slide out dust cover at the bottom of the case in addition to the magnetic one in the roof which is just one of the many nice little touches I really didn't expect at this price. There are lots of cable routing holes on the motherboard tray which are rubberised along with the rubber vibration cancelling feet at the base of the case, again nice little touches of quality I didn't anticipate. As a result I didn't find cable routing troublesome. Also the stock case fans are surprisingly quiet, barely audible even with the build sat on my desk 2 foot from my face.

USB3 and USB on the front of the case, again, you could understand the lack of USB3 here in a budget case at this price.

Overall, this is a truly exceptional case for those on a budget. It has covered all the important points I'd want in a mid-tower case in a well thought out manner and then surprised me with a few nice extra touches to boot.

Good Case For The Money +1

First review is spot on.

Yet again OcUK get my 3G Award: Good Product, Good Price, Good Service.

Good case for the money

Bought one of these for my GF and was presently surprised by the quality and design of the case.
Fairly spacious and easy to work with, lots of cooling potential (more on that later)and looks pretty good IMO.

The metal is a bit thin in places which was a little off putting but did not compromise the build.
There are plenty of vents all around the case, all of which except the rear has a dust cover. Although its been advertised as a watercooling chassis, you would struggle to get a radiator as well as fans inside the case. There is very little room between the top of the case and the motherboard. It does however have rubber grommets on the back to feed water cooling tubes through should you wish to go external instead.

The one main niggle I had with the case is cable routing. The right side of the case has very little room to work with and the main annoyance being a big vertical support bar going near the middle of the case. Unless you can get cables under it (or flat cables) its a little difficult to work around.

Overall though, for the price I was highly impressed with the case. Worth a look if you are on a budget.

"Quality and finish was consistently impressive throughout. Features-wise, it had all that you should require from a midi-tower case and some extra touches too. The Agos has a premium vibe but carries a very fair and competitive price tag."
