Big size and cooling

I have been using the Morpheus II for 6 months now and have found that it performs extremely well. In conjunction with a Noctua Redux 1300pwm fan and LNA noise is minimal and my rx 570 reaches a max of 81c with minimal airflow from a singular 140mm intake fan (SW3) at low rpm. If you are looking for good performance and/or low noise this is a great choice. One point is deducted as the ram heatsinks do not match in colour.

Monstrous performance (and size), couple of minor niggles

Palit GTX 1070.

I'm a total silence freak - I wanted something that would kill as much noise as possible, hang the expense. This is it.

+ Keeps my 1070 under 60 degrees with two fans running at less than 400 rpm. The card emits more electrical noise than fan noise; it even runs PASSIVE in some less demanding games.
+ Looks great in black
+ Fitment is relatively easy.

- Size - it'll turn a two-slot card in to a four-slot card. Not necessarily a problem if you've got the room.
- The heatsinks are all silver - they should be BLACK!
- Cost mounts up once a couple of fans are added (but you can use pretty much ANY fan when there's this much metal).

worth it

bought this for my zotac 1080ti amp edition, so far it has brought the temps down from mid to high 80c to a highest of 60c with an overclock, well worth the time and effort, coupled this with 2 120mm bitfenix extreme pro editions fans. Keep in mind though this is a beefy unit nearly double the card size but if you have space and ability i would say it is worth it

Great cooling

I have an MSI 980 ti oc edition which is dual fan but the heatsink looks about 12mm thick. I replaced it with this monster plus two low noise 120mm fans.

The temps have plummeted from 85c load to 55c. Idle went from 50-55 to 29. This allowed more overclocking to 1475mhz with max temps of 60. The fans never go above 75% and are still low noise.

However the card+ sink + fans take up 4 slots... The provided fan clips do not support most 120mm fans so I've got blue tac and cardboard in my pc to make it work. It's all a bit of a mess. I'm giving it 5 stars based on it's awesome performance, now to find some fan clips...

Worth the hassle

I fitted this to an EVGA GTX970 which had the annoying habit of running the stock fans with nothing between idle and flat-out. The instructions are clear and easy to follow but the website description lacks one important piece of information; the only 120mm fans that will go straight on are Raijintek's own and at 26dba, these were too noisy for me. I coupled the cooler with a pair of 13dba 1000rpm Noiseblocker BlackSilent XL1 Fans but I had to modify the (supplied) fan clips to get them to fit.

It's big though. With fans you will take up two PCIe slots.

Control is done through an Alpenfohn fan controller, although as they are inaudible I usually leave them running at full speed.

Performance is good. With the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt maxed out, temperature hovered between 58C and 60C. Normal usage (Word, Excel, Photoshop, etc.) sees temperatures around 40C.

The bottom line is that this, coupled with a bunch of Apache Black fans and all-SSDS is a whisper-quiet PC where the loudest noise is the fan in the PSU. Must do something about that...
