Very impressive

I was not expecting much from this cooler at this price-point (Under £15),

I just built a new Skylake i7 system and the stock Intel cooler was adequate but rather noisy and I was getting temps up in to the low 70's on 100% load and HD video long renders. (Prime would hit 75 max).

A member on the forum suggested the Raijintek Rhea and so I purchased it along with some Artic Silver MX 5.
I am so glad I did, I noticed a 2-3 degree drop in idle temps compared to the stock Intel with pre-applied thermal paste, but the biggest improvement was under full load.
I saw my max temps drop from low 70's to barely hitting over 60 (occasionally 61-62) and this whilst being whisper quiet.
I have to say I am very impressed with this cooler and for the price the performance is fantastic.
If you're a hardcore OC'er then look elsewhere, but if you want a cheap, quiet and great performing cooler to replace the a stock Intel, then look no further and buy the Rhea.

Ideal for a Fractal Core 1000.

Quick delivery and free :) fitted in a Fractal Core 1000 on a Gigabyte H97N-WIFI Intel H97 + i5 Intel Core i5-4670K.

There is plenty of clearance between the HSF and the side panel of the Core 1000, so jobs a good'un.

Provides ample cooling even in this case, and is whisper quiet :)

The fan does sit quite close to the RAM slots, however even with Kingston HyperX Beast 8GB (2x4GB) PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX24C11T3K2/8X) fitted there is no physical contact. added bonus that the airflow will be forced over the RAM DIMMS to the rear of the case.

Overall cheap and cheerful and does the job.
