(from 6 customer reviews)Fantastic cooler
It's quite large and it was a pain in the ass fitting the anti vibration mounts while it was in my case, is much easier to do it with the motherboard removed. Can't hear a thing when it's running inside my H440
This belongs in a small family car.
Seriously, don't underestimate that picture. Look at the specs and use a tape measure or something.
This is one big heatsink with two big fans and two radiators (one is bigger than the other)
Installation? Painless. Providing you are neat with your cable tying, you shouldn't have a problem with cables getting in the way. The bracket installation is simple, there's an easy to understand instruction manual if you feel lost, it makes excellent contact and I'm reporting as low as 19c on idle with an i7 4790k (out the box, no overclocking)
This truly is a monster, but it's nice to install and provides the results.
Hovers around 50-60c gaming, pushed to 70 by being thoroughly stupid (readas: violent collisions and explosions in physics games) at this point my PC may as well be a server.
NOTE: This may nuke your PCI-E slot and will probably take 2 RAM slots with it. Be prepared to shunt your GPU down and move that RAM.
Best Air Cooler
I am using this cooler with an AMD FX8350 and have overclocked it to 4.85Ghz running at 1.46v and this cooler is keeping it under 62'C running Prime 95 stress test. Simply amazing for an air cooler. I did have Noctua fans on this but found the standard fans were even better. Very quiet yet very effective. If you have the space for this cooler then just but it and be very happy. It is on par with the best AIO water coolers out there with no risk of leaks or noisy pumps.
From the Ereboss to the Tisis
This cooler is amazing. I have used Raijintek coolers in the past and have been very impressed with the cooling performance and the quality. This cooler takes things to another level. I first had the cooler with Noctua fans but have replace these with the standard fans that I believe are better and quieter. I am cooling a FX8350 @ 4.85Ghz with this and under load it stays below 62'C. Dual tower air coolers equal AIO water coolers and in my opinion are safer to use and quieter. This is by far the cheapest twin tower air cooler and performs as well as the more expensive model. Do not hesitate, but the Tisis.
Chilly
This is a very beasty Heat sink, which unlike many i have installed is by far one of the easiest ones to install, you create the bracket etc and screw the fan in, at no point does the heat sink get in the way of that or make you tighten screws at an awkward angle. This all being said, i would not recommend this unless you have 2x8gb cards or low profile ram as this will make any RAM with a heat sink unusable. but this is a great product and you will not regret your purchase. AMD fx 4.1ghz 29oc idle. 71oc Under full load (game + prime 95)
Easier and on par with water cooling.
Totally Awesome
I have to admit that this cooler is 100% Kick ass product.
Mine 4670K @ 4.4 Ghz with 1.25v, under Prime 95 has max 57.7 C with ambient 21.4C.
Noise level 37.8 dB which is awesome too.
For that price you cannot go wrong.
