Also featuring Diamond Chokes to help reduce and eliminate coil whine. The Sapphire Nitro is not only the first custom RX 480 on the market and Overclockers UK is the first to list this amazing product world wide with 2000 units due to arrive middle to end July. We at OcUK believe the Nitro RX 480 will be our best selling RX 480 simply because it improves every aspect of the RX 480 by being faster, quieter, cooler, better looking, more features and even better the price premium for all these extras is very minimal, making the Sapphire RX 480 Nitro absolute incredible value for money.

This means the RX 480 is a superb card for those who are still gaming on cards a few generations old as this card offers a vast leap in performance whilst not requiring a power supply upgrade. Also jam packed with features such as full DX12 readyness, VR Ready and the latest GCN architecture this amazingly powerful, quiet and low power card will only get more and more powerful as AMD release further driver updates, meaning this card is a great upgrade that will last years to come. OcUK now stocks several monitors that support Freesync from as little as around £100, which when combined with the RX-480 give the most fluid gaming experience with no stuttering or tearing, just silky smooth graphics.

Absolutely ideal for 720P and 1080P gaming on all the latest titles with maximum visual settings such as Doom, Unreal Tournamount, Hellblade, Fifa 17, Mafia III, Watch Dogs 2, TitanFall 2, Battlefield 1, Dishonored 2, Halo Wars 2 and Ghost Recon. The RX-480 can even manage gaming comfortably at 1440P (2560x1440) which demonstrates truly how powerful this card is, yet it features such a low price point and is a great upgrade for pretty much any PC with a 350W or greater ATX power supply. Great service and highly recommended card

Smashing graphics cards with more than good enough performance in all current games. 3d mark score almost tripled over my hd4870. On physical installation had problem with everything powering up, but no signal through to monitor. Updated the mobo bios, within windows, on MSI board and this solved the problem. Runs quietly and so worth the 20 quid or less over the rx470. Hardly any difference between this and 8gb model except 40-50 quid.

1080p Price-Performance king

I upgraded from a 560ti, following many months of pondering. I looked at the GTX 970, 980Ti, 1060, 1070. But, like most gamers out there, I game at 1080p (1920x1200 actually). What AMD have done here is absolutely fantastic!

I'm running DOOM (vulcan) on Ultra preset / 1920x1200 @ 120+ FPS, on an ASUS P6TD Deluxe X58 motherboard, and a XEON 5675 OC to 4.3 Ghz!!!

AMD are heading in the correct direction with Vulcan, A-sync compute, and DX 12 advantage over nVidia - who really need to up their game.

I'm glad I stayed away from nVidia this time around. Their overpriced hardware and inferior technology will only take them so far.

Next step - Freesync 144Hz monitor!!!!

PS: Windows reports this card has having 8GB, with only 4GB accessible. Yes, AMD are doing this with many of their 480 cards - look it up. ;-)

Stonking card for the price

Excellent build quality at this price point. Very good performance at 1080p it handles everything I can throw at it and even puts in a decent performance at 2560x1440. Even at 100% gpu load its not noisy at all.
I bought it as a budget replacement for an old card in an old PC but was surprised by the quality and performance. Its not going to beat my EVGA 1080 on benchmarks but at this price you really can't complain. Recommended.
