I went from A GTX 1080 which has done me well but games are getting far more demanding these days and i wasn't happy having to drop to medium settings for 1080p for some games so wanted to get something worth while to be a good upgrade and this 6700Xt does not dissapoint in the slightess amazing performance very pleased with it so far so now i just max 1080p ultra all this handles with ease
Purchased this the other week when costing £230 shipped next day. With resident evil 4 included with my order. Though't I would leave some time to game and test the card before writing a review. Very nice looking card with really good performance. Handles anything I throw at it with ease. One thing which has driven me nuts with my short ownership is how bad the drivers can be if you do not use DDU ( a driver uninstaller tool ) if you have owned and used a Nvidia gpu on the same windows install. left me with some black screens which forced me to reinstall drivers. I think this is fixed now after using DDU. no problems in almost a week where as before it would be once a day. In conclusion I would highly recommend this card, but make sure to use DDU to remove any drivers from a previous graphics card you had installed on the same windows install.
I bought the Rx 6700 xt 12gb for myself because I wanted to upgrade from the gtx 1050 ti 4gb and it was the best best decision I made.
