Gentle Typhoon 120mm 1850 RPM - 3 Pin

The GentleTyphoon achieves high airflow volume and low noise with the newly designed impeller, enabling silent cooling of the latest devices which run very hot.
The GentleTyphoon has a different type of tone. The fan propeller is designed to reduce the disturbing frequency fan noise to human ears. The newly designed motor and motor support mechanism of the GentleTyphoon uses a double vibration reduction structure. The new support mechanism uses coil dampers to greatly reduce vibration.

Great air flow and super low noise.
I cant here the fans spinning at all only the air that's produced as it passes through the radiator.
If your looking for low noise and good air flow you cant go much wrong with these fans.
I did find one fan had a bad bearing but I managed to replace the bearings from the fan that came with my 2700k cooler.
Its good to know you can replace the bearing, 2 needles either side of the C clip and it comes right of just be carful you don't loose it.
All and all im very happy with these fans but it has to have 4 stars for the fan that had a loud bearing.

Louder than expected

I bought three of these to replace the older stock fans in my Antec300 case. After connecting the front two using the supplied Molex 4-pin to fan cables, I was pretty surprised at how loud they are at full power - not uncomfortable, but definitely disturbing if I had music on low volume.

I have since used a 3-pin fan splitter to connect both via motherboard, and with auto-control they are much, much quieter (60% speed brings them down to almost silent). They shift a great deal of air, so I'm pleased in that regard.

tldr version: make sure you have some kind of fan control (mobo or controller) unless you wear headphones all the time.

Silent and deadly

Got this to replace the corsair stock fan on my A50 cooler. Temps are roughly the same at idle and under load, maybe shaved 1 degree off which is fine as my 2500k @4.5 never goes above 65 degrees. But I actually had to check to see if it what turning as it was so so quiet. I looked inside while the pc was on and low and behold it was turning. Awesome fan, almost silent.

good fans

i bought these for my rad , running them at 70% there not as noisey and do same job at 70% load ( around 1200rpm) @ full speed there far from silent but i think most of the noise was the air whistling into my case @ full load lol.

For 16 pound fans though i was disapointed not to see braided cables...

Wow swapped my Corsair H70 fans with a pair of these and they knocked 10 degrees of the CPU Temp and silent! well worth it.

Much better than stock h70 one's

I have a Corsair H70, and replaced them with a couple of these, the stock Corsair one's are so loud. Put these in and OMG! It's soooooo quiet. Really pleased with my order, OcUk are pure class for having these in stock.

Recieved 3 of these today for my xspc rs360 rad and i am very impressed. Excellent build quality, very quiet and the amount of air they are shifting is fantastic.

Great fan and will deffinatly buy again.

Easily the best fans I have ever tried.

I bought 2 of these to go with a H50. Initially, I tried a set of red Bitfenix Spectre. The first thing you notice after unpacking them is how weighty and solid they feel out of the box.

They easily whipped the BitFenix into submission and then some more. At full 1850 rpm you can barely hear them. There is absolutely no need for a fan controller, even though you would think a fan going at 1850 would be a bit on the noisey side.

In terms of performance (and bear in mind this is a single H50) I have a Q9650 running at 1.38 volts that maxes at 60C and pretty much stays that hot for hours. Previous to this, the BitFenix fans would reach 70c in a matter of minutes.

Quite possibly the best fans in terms of performance to noise ratio on the market, and an easy 5 stars.
