Kaze Jyuni 1200RPM Slipstream 120mm Fan

The Slipstream 120mm Case Fans have been developed solely by Scythe engineers. They found out that by reducing the dimension of the centre hub and the wider surface area of the fan blade increased the airflow. There are a range of different fan speeds to choose from which meets the demand from a wide variety of users in the market. Silent users to power users now have more choice when it comes to choosing a suitable case fan.

- Air volume at full speed (12V), CFM ±10% 68.5
- Noise level at full speed (12V), dB(A) 24.0
- Fan speed at full speed (12V), RPM ±10% 1200
- MTBF 3.5 years

Love it

Got two of these in my current build and a 1900RPM. Great rad fans. Running them in the Corsair 600T using the stock fan controller. They move a great amount of air and after running with 1900RPMs they have a better noise to air ratio. Also a great price.

Excellent Fans

These are great little fans. Installed on my CoolerMaster case and they outshine the stock fans by far. Admitedly you can hear them when at full power (using a fan controller) but considering that the GPU fan is louder anyways this really isn't a problem. Will be buying more soon with another fan controller to finish the set.

They do go really quiet if you turn them down so if noise is a problem use the money you save on these to buy a good fan controller.

Average despite specification

Got this one by mistake as I wanted the slimmer version. Just tries it in my Antec 183 case in 2 positions: top extracting = poor, only when I take the side off the case will it work at max; front intake = ok not full throttle as it struggles to beat the resistance of the dust filter.I reckon the cfm to be 1/3 in the top positon & only 1/2 in intake.
Quieter than the Noctua that was the intake fan so I'd say it is <24db.

24db probably is optimistic

I bought these 3 of these from else where (unusually) and noticed the 3 star rating and felt sorry for them. Yes they are noisier than 24db but with a fan controller, which you can pick up really cheaply, they are ideal. I have 3 of them as intakes on my system, 2 of which are next to me and on low, they make a very unobtrusive noise. On full they are a little bit loud, but in fairness they do seem to shift an impressive amount of air. I have them on low for just general computer use with should improve the life of my components and high when gaming and they are not so loud that they interfere with that or distract me from my game.

In conclusion, good solid fans and at such a low price you can afford to have a fan controller and have the best of both worlds!

not bad but not great

Not a bad fan, it runs at the rated 1200rpm and is powerful enough to pull more air through my dense dust filter than my Xilence Red Wing 120mm could, however this fan is probably a bit louder than the rated 24dB even though I'm using good ruber silent fan mounts. Therefore I'm probably going to have to get a fan controller now just so i can slow it down a bit late at night...only gets 3 stars because of the noise I'm afraid...
