Not compatible with all motherboards

On my Intel MB ICH8 bridge the USB 3.0 controller disappears when waking from sleep. Silverstone support confirmed that the older Intel boards are not compatible with the USB 3.0 controller. Once the hub disappears it can take several power off restarts to get it back.
If your motherboard is compatible the card works great and the USB 3.0 performance is really good

Gives you internal HDD speeds externally

really pleased with the performance this gives my ATA hard drives using a USB 3 Icy Dock.
BUT I have a problem in that the USB controller disappears from the device manager in Windows 7 if the PC is allowed to go into sleep mode. I have the latest drivers and firmware and I don't know if this is a Windows problem, the Intel motherboard or Silverstone. Once its disappeared its a power down if you are lucky or re-image to get it back. If the system stays awake I do not seem to get this problem. (I have also tried setting the USB controller to ignore power saving along with doing the same in advanced settings for USB and PCIe bus with no luck).
I've deducted a star because of this problem, which might be unfair if the problem lies with the Microsoft OS
