With the SX700 , Silverstone offers an ultra-compact power supply unit in the SFX form factor with a high nominal power of 700 watts. The small power supply offers a very high efficiency of up to 94 percent with 80 PLUS Platinum certification. The fully modular cable set facilitates clean cable laying and ensures that no space is wasted due to unnecessary cables and the airflow is not disturbed by unnecessary tangles.

Compact power supply in SFX form factor

With the SST-SX700-PT , Silverstone relies on the SFX form factor, which is characterised by extremely compact dimensions. A 92 mm fan provides cooling instead of a more traditional 80 mm fan. The result is a powerful SFX power supply with an extremely high continuous output of 700 watts.

Thanks to the SFX format, the Silverstone SST-SX700-PT is primarily intended for mini-chassis, but still stands out due to its extensive connection arsenal and offers very high performance with minimal dimensions. Due to the length of only 100mm, it fits into even the smallest of cases.

Fully modular cable management & 80 PLUS platinum efficiency

,p.Mounting the power supply in small cases is particularly convenient thanks to the excellent cable management, the SX700 is fully modular and is supplied with detachable ribbon cables. The extremely high efficiency of the power supply, on average from 90% to 94%, was awarded the 80 PLUS Platinum certificate and ensures that only a relatively small amount of electrical energy is converted into heat.

The SX700 has a powerful single 12V rail with a whopping 58.4 amps and offers various protective functions such as OCP (overcurrent protection), OPP (overload protection), OVP (overvoltage protection), UVP (undervoltage protection), (OTP) overheating protection and SCP (short-circuit protection). The large selection of modular cables give the SX700 plenty of flexibility for any required task. In addition to 20 + 4-pin and 4 + 4-pin ATX / EPS connectors, there are also four 6 + 2-pin PCI-Express connections available and over six SATA -Plugs, three 4-pin Molex connectors supply drives such as HDDs, SSDs and ODDs. A floppy adapter cable is also included.
