TemJin TJ08B-E Midi Tower Case - Black (SST-TJ08B-E USB 3.0)
In 2006, SilverStone launched the Temjin TJ08, an impressive micro-ATX tower case with then unheard of dual 120mm fan configuration. It helped pioneered the idea of big tower cooling performance in small packages. Five years later, improved technology and design has enabled SilverStone engineers to create another pioneering small tower case in the TJ08 Evolution (TJ08-E). To improve cooling performance, a class leading “Air Penetrator” 180mm fan was installed behind the front panel to create virtual airflow tunnel with positive air pressure, which also improves quietness and dust prevention.Standard enthusiast features retained or improved include removable motherboard tray and top panel, CPU back plate cutout, all black painted interior, removable filters for all intake vents, and beautifully finished aluminum front panel.

(from 2 customer reviews)Superb small case.
I have two of these, and think they are superb cases for the money, really well made, great dust filters, great air cooling.
You can cram a lot of hardware in these cases, but need to consider a few things before purchasing, for instance, if you plan on using the hard drive caddy fully, use an AIO or air cooler that allows the fan to be rear mounted, as the hard drive cables can foul many air coolers.
You can put an HDD in one of the optic bays of course, though some caddy's are not easy to mount due to the front bay cover screws and tabs. Putting an optic drive in the bottom bay slot gives you a nice place for unused cables or an HDD to hide, though a dual bay res/pump combo looks great if you are wanting to forgoe the HDD cage and fit a 180mm water cooling radiator and fan.
The only two negatives I have, well I don't really think the PSU venting out the top is necessary, I would have preffered a plain top as i dump magazines and such on it, and the smal 3.5" bay panel really looks out of place.
If they had removed that bay when they released the windowed version I would have bought a third.
I used both mine in various builds, the two main ones were my main PC with a 4770K/Asus Gene VI/MSI 7950/Noctua CPU cooler/Samsung 240 Pro and HGST 4TB HDD with a X-650 Seasonic PSU. The other was a server play thing with a bundle of old drives, small PSU and old LGA 775 Micro ATX system.
My son currently uses one now with an E8500/Asus Gene II/4GB Dominator GT/Samsung 840 SSD/BeQuiet cooler and PSU.
The one thing I really came to appreciate was the dust filtering up front, and the ease of cleaning that.
One of my favorite cases.
Very smart
Bought this for an office PC build. As title says, it's firstly a very smart case with a nice brushed aluminum front. Would complement any office, living room, etc very well.
Cooling potential is prob good, but if you're after silence then the 180mm fan stills needs a little bit of notching down, even with the switch on low. As I discovered, FM2 builds aren't brilliantly suited to this case as the CPU cooler has to face up or down, which is not ideal as it is sat close to the bottom with the inverted motherboard layout here.
There is space for a 2.5" HDD/SSD and 2nd external or internal 2.5" or 3.5" drive without the large HDD cage, which makes for lots of room inside. Plenty of space for cable management behind mobo tray, and for spare PSU cables to the far side of the PSU.
Can't really fault it seriously!
