TemJin TJ11 Full Tower Gaming Case - Black (SST-TJ11B-W)

In 2005, SilverStone created the Temjin TJ07, a tower chassis that was built ahead of its time with unprecedented unibody construction and compartmentalized layout for near limitless liquid cooling configuration. Then in 2006, the Temjin TJ09 was released with beautiful classic styling and advanced see-through air duct designed for cooling generations of powerful graphics cards that was yet to be released. In 2008, SilverStone broke convention and created the first retail computer chassis to implement 90 degree motherboard mounting with the RAVEN RV01, a new design that set benchmarks for balancing air cooling performance and quietness.
Not content to rest on its past achievements, SilverStone engineers aim to set yet another benchmark with the Temjin TJ11 for 2011 and beyond. The TJ11 possess all the greatest features from past SilverStone flagships products along with new designs such as the Air Penetrator fans, making it a superb chassis for cooling and low noise. In addition, there are plenty of ergonomic touches such as quick access filters, hot-swappable hard drive bays, removable motherboard tray, CPU back plate cutout, and optimized cable routing paths to enable easy maintenance/upgrade for always running as efficiently as possible.
For hardcore enthusiasts, the beautifully crafted all aluminum TJ11 is a pleasure to work with as the entire chassis is free of rivets so everything can be taken apart. It also has a bigger lower compartment than the TJ07 to house the largest radiator available such as Hardware Labs Black Ice® SR1 560 (4 x 140mm).
The potential and the flexibility of TJ11 are truly unrivaled. It can be used to build a top of the line gaming PC with its 1000W+ cooling capability on air, build an impressive storage server with its plethora of drive bay options, or build an amazing piece of technology artwork with liquid cooling.

Very good case

I bought this case and love everything about it. As for the comment about no SSD mounts the case allow for SSD mounting on the outside of the inner bays. So if I explain where you would screw the cd rom etc there are mounting plates for SSD's which means you don't take up any internal space. You do have to take out the lower HDD hot swap bays to get your radiator in but I'm running a 360mm rad and a 1500w PSU in the lower compartment. I do agree with limited space for wiring as you have to run the watercooling pipes in the space space. I do agree the extra large fans are redundant if you are watercooling but I am running a dual dc5 bay pump and res combo gtx Titan CPU and North and South bridge watercooled on a 360 rad and temps not exceeding 35degrees on over clock max load. As fans seem to help a lot by are not needed in the case I will be modding my case to run rigid tubing instead of the flex 1/2inch alround awesome case and very happy. Btw no carry candles and it is v!
ery large you do have to mod the case for the rads though.

More thought needed

Like many others who carefully reviewed high end cases, specifically for water cooling, the TJ11 appeared to be top cat. However, there are design limitations: 1. no bracket for radiator. 2. You have to ditch the hard drive bays to fit radiator and pipe work. 3. nothing to mount pumps onto without modding the case. 4. the two large fans are redundant for a water cooling system. 5. lack of wire harness 6. you have to take up a lot of bay space in the front to fit reservoir and HDD. 7. The start button fell off. 8.the grill on top of the case does allow you to install wireless card with aerials 9. no mounts for 2.5" SSD once you ditch the bottom drive bays - meaning to you have to buy more accessories from Silverstone. 10. cannot package twin SLI with water cooled graphics cards. In all, this case is neither specific for air or water cooled applications. More design thought required. However, I did manage to fit everything in - but go for Aqua Computer stuff if you're watercoo!
