One slight drawback, but great mouse!

Competitive fps gamer for 10 years.

Had the IE 3.0, 1.1a, mx510, mx518, G5, G9, G400, G500, diamondback, copperhead, deathadders 3.5 and 2013e.
That should help you understand where I come from when reviewing the mouse.
Oh, and I have big hands and prefer palm grip, so that should be taken into account.

Pros:

+Great tracking and no noticeable acceleration +/- (I never used it over 400cpi, though. Not into twitch gaming)
+Grips. Much better placement and coverage than the 2013 DA
+Right contour has enough room for 4th and 5th fingers. Most mice get a little awkward if you have big hands/fingers
+Baby got back. No forcing to palm way up on the mouse just to get some mouse into the concave of your hand.
+Responsive, yet relatively silent clicks. I consider this a plus. Nothing like loud, rapid clicking to upset the missus.

Cons:

-Rubberised coating on the top of the mouse does not help with grip. Gets worse the more you sweat.
-I consider wasting resources on customizable name plates a con. Just take the price down and get rid.
-It's relatively long and thin. Like a plastic hotdog. Yes, it's meaty in some comfortable areas, but it forces me to hybrid claw with my 4th and 5th fingers. Feels like it was designed with Disney villains' hands in mind.

BIGGEST CON (and the reason why it doesn't get 5*) -
The USB cable inserts very low into the mouse, as the front goes to a point at the LMB and RMB. There is a rubber....gromit, shielding, casing? that covers the cable where it inserts. If you don't have the cable suspended, there is a good chance the rubber housing makes contact with your mousing surface and you feel a judder and the glide is temporarily messed up. It's correctable if you use a bungee, but I hate products that can't get something simple like that right without 3rd party devices to fix their issues (like the liftoff distance with the old Deathadders)

Really, the tracking and relative comfort for larger hands wins out over the cons. I can work the cable in a fashion that the rubber housing doesn't give me any issues in matches.

I could go on, but I've rambled long enough.

TL;DR --

If you have large hands and need something that tracks better than the Deathadder, this is the ticket.
Just be aware that the rubber USB cable insertion point might give you issues.
