Absolutely brilliant for gaming or general use. Looks great and runs smoothly at 120hz.

If you are on ATI though there seem to be some problems getting the monitor to run at 120hz unless you use native res! I would wait until they fix the drivers until you purchase it :)

NICE but

first off all. its a nice screen.

ive coming from a crt 120 hertz and there is a very very very little difference. its the best lcd screen i tried. But in css i have a problem with getting 120 hertz. i have 2 change resolution to a 4:3 format in aspect ratio. and after change it to nativ. res. then it works. i also have some problems when i change res on desktop. it goes all yellow stribes on the screen for 10 sec. its like its loading something??? anyone tried this? i have a ati 4870 gpu. what gpu a you guys running with?

Ref my previous on 120hz only INCORRECT

I said prev that this monitor only works 120hz on native res. After looking about I read it should work on all res's. Im on win 7 so im guessing the drivers arent great for it, so after making my own drivers I can now do 120hz on all res's.

To sum up, 10/10 for this monitor, cant fault it one bit

Top notch but 120hz only at native res

Got this monitor on Saturday and running it on full res @ 120hz feels no diff from my 20" crt at 120hz.

The only thing i was surprised about is that the screen only does 120hz at full res, all other res lower runs at a maximum of 75hz. It does have a option when running at a lower hz to adjust the response time, but I didnt expect to only do 120hz at full res.

alot of people have said about the look of the screen, for me there is nothing wrong with it. And also the stand people have been saying when typing etc the screen wobbles because of a poor stand. I dont have this issue at all, my desk is solid and no wobbles here.

If swithing from another LCD or even a CRT I'd highly recommend this.

Ive upgraded from a 5:4 19" LCD to this one and everything about this monitor is better then my previous one. As soon as you plug it in and move the mouse around you can notice the difference. It is very responsive and a vast improvement over a 60Hz monitor for gaming, especially in FPS titles.

It doesn't seem to have any of the problems the VX2265wm had, namely the inability to change the brightness in 120Hz mode. It also does have a pretty slick OCD allowing you to change all settings like colour, brightness, contrast and sharpness that the previous model didn't have.

The only downside for me is the flimsy stand, I may even replace it. It is very wobbly and even typing seems to cause it to wobble side to side.
