Good price, good looks, but poor quality (Multiple Leaks!)

I purchased a dozen of these 45 degree fittings as well as a handful of the identical 90 degree fittings, for a secondary GPU loop. I chose them because they are pretty much the cheapest fittings you can find online and they look pretty good too, but sadly, cheap is not always a good thing.

On the very first use, two of these 45 degree fittings leaked from the rotary gasket, luckily nothing got water on it, just the case.
After swapping out those leaky fittings with the extra ones I purchased, I tried again... this time two of the 90 degree fittings leaked and another different one of these 45 fittings.
Eventually after having to redesign the entire loop 3 or 4 times I got some of them to work without leaks.

The issue is the rotary. The rotary part has a gasket to allow them to rotate and the gasket to stop the water leaking, but these I guess are cheaply made and some of them are very loose and have a sizeable gap on the rotary part. Which means the slightest, tiniest amount of pull, push or twist from your tubing, which always happens when water cooling, it opens the loose rotary and the gasket leaks.

I've owned these fittings XSPC 45 and 90 degree fittings for over a year now and only 3 out of about 16 are still usable. Even the ones that worked Ok at the start very quickly wear and start to leak.
Therefore, sadly I would definitely not recommend them to anyone. Although, the XSPC standard compression fittings are great, I have roughly 40 of them on 3 different loops in 2 PCs, and over 2 years all of them have worked perfectly.... Just a shame these rotary fittings aren't as good.

Fantastic Product, looks great, easy to fit.

Has made the connection between CPU and GPU look great with one of these at either end.

The spin easily and a full 360 degrees.

nice!

brought this with its 90 degree counterpart the finish is really nice like a glassy metallic finish, they can move on its joint without leaking just be sure to tighten properly other wise it will unscrew its self from what your connecting it to.
