great and cheap!!

i have had this res/pump combo installed in 3 different cases (jeantech aqua, zalman gs1000 se and corsair 800d) and i have to say, im either the luckiest guy alive, or the other reviewers are pre-menstrual... there is NO sound coming from mine at all. i have noticed that when using slightly thicker liquid, the pump does get a tingy bit louder, yes. but using distilled water with a dye, is completely silent. i have had this one unit running for almost 2 years with fault or problem. it is the cheapest and cleanest way of having a waterloop in your system. stick it in the 5.25" bay, plug in with molex, bobs your uncle, fannies your aunt, where do the cows come from? hehe. overall i have no complaints with this supplying liquid to an i7 950 with some budget 120mm radiator and 1/2 x 3/4 tubing.

Noise

Works perfectly well, but the pump is way too noisy for my liking. There are 6 fans in my system (4 of which are 200mm and relatively loud) but the pump drowns them all out. After looking around the internet, it seems this is a common issue with this product.

Some people have found that making sure there is absolutely no air at the top of the reservoir will make the pump run quieter, but this hasn't been the case for me. Will be swapping this out for a standalone pump and reservoir when I have the time.

Very Noisy Pump

Put the system together thinking that the solution would be quieter than a processor fan. However the pump is very noisy drowning out both system and power supply fans. If you want quiet then I would stay away from this one.
