The
Z7 Neo from
Zalman demonstrates once and for all that an affordable Midi-Tower does not need to cut corners. Quite to the contrary, the
Z7 Neo manages to impress with its clean lines, minimalist black interior, and the contrast that the pre-installed RGB-LED fans achieve with the rest of the case. Needless to say, Zalman has also gone the extra mile in terms of craftsmanship.

Zalman Z7 Neo: Midi-Tower with Tempered Glass and RGB-LED Controller
Zalman has given the
Z7 Neo a stylish two-tone interior in black with a white motherboard tray. In the lower section of the case, there is a black shroud supporting PSUs up to 18 cm in length with a modular drive cage for two 3,5- or 2,5" drives. Two additional 2,5" SSDs can be mounted to the rear of the motherboard tray.
The clean interior of the Midi-Tower is illuminated by means of four 120 mm RGB-LED fans. They are equipped with white dispersion rings and controlled by an RGB-LED controller to the rear of the motherboard tray. This is connected to a button on the I/O panel and can be hooked up to a 4-pin RGB connector on compatible motherboards in order to colour coordinate your peripherals via software. In total, eight RGB-LED fans can be connected to the RGB-LED controller via proprietary 6-pin connectors as well as two RGB-LED strips with 4-pin connectors (12 V).
Versatile Cooling Options
The
Zalman Z7 Neo offers multiple options for installing watercooling: there is space in the roof for a radiator up to 240 mm in size and the front supports a 360 mm radiator. When using air cooling, in addition to the four pre-installed 120 mm fans in the front and back, two 140- or 120 mm fans can be installed in the roof. CPU coolers are limited to a max height of 165 mm. A large magnetic filter in the top protects your components from unwanted dust.
