Recent Purchase

Just bought this as an upgrade to my old card, plus a power supply upgrade to go with it. My old card could not run VR but this thing absolutely smashes it. Scores for the VR assessment utility were off the scale and that is with the card running stock, no need to try to overclock it yet, though the utility that comes with it looks excellent.

Runs everything flat out. The card is quite large but was no bigger than my old card, so no issues with space, but you may struggle with a smallish case.

Card runs quiet even under full load and has not got warm as yet.

Hugely recommend this product.

Great card!!

awesome card! plays games on ultra with a very high framerate, cooling is great and overclocking is very easy.
i recoomend this to anyone looking for a high end card without the need to shell out 700+ for a 1080 theres no need! this is your answer!

A Real Sweet Spot!

The 1070 is a real sweet spot in gaming and this card proves it! It look great, packs a huge punch, has a five year warranty and is a great price.

Boosts to just under 2000mhz out the box and benches fire strike at a little over 18000, pretty good. But a little overclocking sees that rise to 21000, extremely close to a stock 1080 which costs 50% more! Stable with the memory at 9.4ghz and core at 2050mhz.

Will walk anything you throw at it at 1440p and even manages decent 4K gaming. Battlefield 1 maxed at 4K and it JUST manages to maintain 60fps. Titanfall 2 at 1800p manages 60fps.

The card is also nice and quiet... the fans don't kick in till 60c. But be warned this card is HUNGRY requiring TWO 8pin connectors and is MASSIVE only just fits in an ITX case.

An amazing card and offers excellent bang for your buck. Recommend it to anyone thinking of upgrading their system. 10/10

Amazing piece of kit

This card is well worth it, it runs great in my asrock 990fx mother board which only has pcie 2.0. I am seeing more than double the speed from this card than I got from my gtx950 sli cards.
It is running great on my 500w p.s.u and it plays all my games at max with no problems.
The card runs around 65c when playing games and it looks cool with an industrial look to it.

Very well put together...

Upgraded from a GTX 770 and I am a very happy bunny.
This is the first time I've spent £400 on a card and the Zotac offers a reassuring 5 year warranty, where 3 seems to be the norm and some are offering as little as 2 years.
I must admit I am very impressed with the general build quality, especially the addition of large fans and a back-plate. In my opinion this is a great looking card. Though you might want to double check whether your case will accommodate such a large GPU.
Performance wise the card is killer (I'm still gaming at 1080p) and it handles everything you can throw at it with aplomb is almost silent and never goes over 65c.
I had a quick stab at overclocking the card using the Firestorm utility and managed a stable+125mhz on the core and +600mhz on the memory without an problem. Though to be fair I've set everything back to default as it's pure overkill at 1080p.
So all in all I can only but recommend this card..Also the card arrived promptly and I found Overclockers very helpful to boot.

What an AWESOME card!

I bought this card for my Asus PB287Q 4K monitor. Coming from a Radeon R9 290 Black Edition card - I have made the right decision!

This card is well built and the fans are super quiet. It also runs superbly with DOOM 2016! With my previous card, it used to crash a lot.

Loving this card! The best purchase I've made in a while.

You won't regret it! :-)

Great card, relatively good value too!

I bought this as an upgrade to my MSI 970 which recently failed. It's quite a big, heavy card, but fitted perfectly in my Silverstone FT-02 case. It's a huge upgrade over my previous card, & very quiet too. It does need 2x8 pin PCI power connectors though, which is odd since EVGA's 1080 only needs a single 8 pin cable. My only criticism really is the price of the card...my 970 was only £230, compared to £399 for the Zotac 1070. Still, compared to other AIB 1070's, it's good value...if you can afford it.

Brilliant card

1. Solid, quality build.
2. Almost silent fans.
3. 5 year warranty.
4. Overclocked to 2014hz out of the box.
5. Low temp.
6. Running Total War Warhammer 1080p extreme at 90fps+

I cannot recommend this card enough, although it is fairly wide and very long. If you are looking for a 1070 i really do recommend this, i don't imagine the extreme version being much better to be honest.

Card performmence great. But bare in mind card is huge.I have to remove one of the fans, wouldnt fit into my case

Jacek Swieczkowski 2016-07-20

It looks pretty...

I've bought this card for my new Ultrawide 21:9 1440p Mini ITX build.

I'm not GPU evangelist so when picking the card I was driven by its look, price and warranty. And zotac gtx 1070 AMP ticket all these boxes.
Damn this card looks sooo pretty!

Out of the box it boosts up to 1950MHz+ on core without any OCing or bios mods which is good. However clocks depends on gpu temps pretty much. If you manage to keep it around 66-70*C you can easily achieve stable 2050 MHz on clock. Unfortunately on higher temps, clock drops to the ground. Not sure if this is pascal issue or all gpus - been using laptops for past 8 years and could not care less about clock on mobile GPU. In my semi open case it rarely gets to 70*C Seen once 71*C.

On idle with Fans off, it runs between 30 and 40*C, on auto mode fans kick in just above 50*C.

Occasionally there is pretty laud coil whine or whatever it is called - especially when you hit card hard with computing task on idle. Unberable noise can actually outloud my 6 fans running inside the case. But when card warms up noise fades away.

Please bare in mind: THIS CARD IS HUGE. But somehow I've managed to squeeze it to Corsair 380T case.

Also noticed that power connectors LED is on all the time even when PC is shut down. Not sure if bug or feature.

As always big thumbs to overclockers for timed delivery and packaing.

Wow... what a card!

It's been a while since I upgraded my GPU so this was a huge jump from my Radeon 6950.

This card runs absolutely silently during my playtests and didn't even break a sweat running modded Skyrim, BF4, The Witcher 3 all at max settings.

There is one issue to bring up but it doesn't impact the quality of the product.

The card is huge and the power connectors stick out of the side. Make sure it can fit in your case if you buy one. I had to 'modify' my case with some tin snips.

Apart from that, I'm in love with it. Can't wait to buy a VR headset and see what it can really do.
