Virtual Reality is upon us with the likes of Oculus Rift already available and HTC Vive coming very soon. Valve have released a SteamVR benchmark which will test your system for VR Readiness, we advice customers to run this benchmark as the minimum specification to be VR Ready is a GTX 970 from camp NVIDIA. A GeForce 980Ti scores 10-11 in the SteamVR benchmark which is the highest score possible. So if you want the best possible VR performance than GTX 980Ti or Titan X is the answer for truly the best VR gaming experience. Upgraded from Asus GTX670 about time too!! months back I upgraded to Gigabyte X99 Bundle now with this GC upgrade I'm complete, blows everyhting out of of the water, but, i'm still @1080 I know I know this GC is overkill for 1080 which the reason im getting a G-Sync 144Hz 27" monitor within the next month or so.
I got this during this week only deal which knocked off at least £100 off it was a month ago, great to overclock i got it way over the AMP Extreme stock speeds just for the fun of it (in firestorm software the 3D+ boost delivers great overclocking for day to day gaming), still have to see 70C temps but then again my 10 year old Antec 900 case still delivers great cooling.
All in all very impressive GC and a thanks to OC for the brilliant service and of course the packet of tangtastics mmmmm.

Fast......Very Fast

Fantastic card, cool running , silent, and faster than a rat up a drain pipe.

It's a 980Ti that is close to stock dimensions height wise , only a 2 slotter and not bad to look at. I got mine at 499 last week and that was a deal and half.

Smashes through anything at 1440p with everything and I mean everything on max settings. 4k is doable but you have to start toning it down settings wise and the card works harder as the fans spin up but still not intrusively so.

Top card and top service from OCUK

Picked one of these up in the Black Friday sales. Upgraded from a 670GTX which was long over due.

Despite concerns i had read about the card being noisy i havent found it to be a problem at all. My base unit sits on my desk and is pretty much silent for the majority of use.

Temps idle around 50 with the highest ive seen as 70 during long bouts of gaming. (im on 1440p Gsync monitor)

Massive Card - Make Sure Your Case Can T

Firstly beware and check that your case can take this. Newer cases where you can remove a HD cage are no problem but I first tried installing this in my old CM Scout case and it just didn't fit.

The card also takes up 2 slots width.

As for the performance - it makes the titan X totally redundant because it gives you matching performance at a much lower price.. This card is currently the best you could possibly need even getting playable 4k FPS at high settings on the latest games.

I got this on offer at

Zotac GeForce GTX 980Ti AMP Edition SLI

Awesome cards but not good for SLI though because cant add water coolers without losing the 5 years plus EK are not making blocks for them and when I told Zotac about the buggy firestorm app the response was poor.

I swapped out a 980 AMP which worked a dream for 2 x 980 TI amps which now crash as fans kick in too late and firestorm cant control them manually. plus if your over clocking there is a voltage lock less than the reference board.

Response from Zotac
[2] GPU Temperature issue (too high ?) under SLI mode (two card SLI).
So long as the Single Card (one piece of GTX980Ti) can work fine, and the temperature is within the normal specification), then, the "two card SLI" temperature issue is not the responsibility of the Graphic card maker. Your card temperature of 80+ under heavy load is normal.

its not the temp that's bothering me its the crashing I've done a clean format tried different NVIDIA drivers.

As for the SLI configuration says on the box SLI ready so I should able to use them in SLI without modifying them.

My system is reasonable cooled I don't know what more you want me to do my CPU has a 360mm Rad, Ram chips have a fan cooler VRM's on mobo have a cooler, case has 3 exhaust fans and 2 intake fans my case temp is 28c my GPU temps are 80+ until they crash.

Silent and Stealthy!

So, this card is fitted into a Corsiar 350D with the 3.5" drive bays removed and there is plenty of space round the card, so no dramas fitting it.

Out of the box card boosts to 1240Mhz (14.5k FS score) under load, fans remain off until 63'C, and once up and running are silent, the case fans are louder!

Card is sturdy with the metal finish and back plate, does not feel overly heavy so no danger of drooping anytime soon.

5yr warranty is a real sweetener!

Ideal for a single card setup and handles running on a 1080p@240Hz monitor and/or a 2560x1080@60Hz monitor.

Quick overclock stable at 1448/1851 Mhz so 16K FS score.

On a side note, removing the cooler/fans will void the warranty according to the Zotac website so steer clear if you want to water cool this bad boy.

Ideal card that does not really break the bank :)

Very Surprising

Upgraded from my GTX 970 and I have to say even after reading reviews I was pleasantly surprised with the performance jump. I went from playing the witcher at 1080 on ultra without hairworks to playing on ultra with hairworks (except on geralt through a mod) at 1440p at a steady 80-90 fps once overclocked!.

The GTX 980 non ti is a terrible price for performance card in comparison to the 970 and the 980 ti - BUY ONE OR THE OTHER

CPU - i7 4790k @4.60ghz
RAM - 16GB @ 2133mhz
Case - Corsair Graphite 780T
Storage - 2x 256GB ssd's + a 1TB HDD
Liquid cooled etc etc

Decent performing with a decent price

I got my Zotac Amp! in the OCUK

what a beast

Just upgraded from a stock evga gtx780 reference to this and the difference is awesome witcher 3 everything on ultra never drops below 60fps. and its cool idles about 52 Celsius and hasn't got over 74 yet (also in a mini heatwave so ambiance is very high) and surprisingly quiet if your on the fence then jump off and grab this bad boy

Up graded from a Sapphire Radeon R9 290X Tri-X 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card , blows it away on all fronts. Plus you benefit from Nvidia drver support. AMD Goodbye.

Excellent temps, build quality and performance! Mine boosts to 1290MHz out the box and stays at around 70C when gaming (fans run quietly at around 50% at this temp). The fans completely turn off when the card is idle or below 60C too.

I'm very impressed with this card so far as it's quieter and cooler than I expected (no coil whine so far with mine). Perfect, especially at the
