The Uncharted games have been a fan favourite since their release in 2007. Initially released on PlayStation, in 2022 we saw the Legacy of Thieves Collection come to PC and an action-packed film starring Tom Holland as Nathan Drake.
(Although, who can forget the fan-made 15-minute film starring Nathan Fillion?!)
Uncharted on the Silver Screen
Available on a number of streaming services, you can live the thrill of Uncharted. Alongside Tom Holland, this film stars Mark Wahlberg as Sully, Sophia Ali as Chloe Frazer, and Antonio Banderas as the menacing Moncada. Chock-full of action and quippy retorts, this Sony Pictures film appears to have captured the essence of the Uncharted games, even down to Nate’s iconic, “Oh crap”. Enjoy all the big action, as our heroes search for Magellan’s treasure.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection
The tenth title in the franchise, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is a remaster of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Both originally released on PlayStation 4, they have been updated for the PlayStation 5 and PC. Each game features fluid combat, cinematic locations, and complex puzzles for you to master and enjoy.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
This game takes place several years after Drake’s last jaunt and his retirement from treasure hunting. He is called back into action by his presumed-dead brother, Sam. In this globe-trotting adventure, the Drake brothers must fight for Sam’s life and find the treasure, of course.
Initially released back in 2016, the fourth chapter in Nathan Drake’s story received stellar reviews and won over 150 Game of the Year Awards. Gameplay takes place in dynamic set pieces, which you can grapple hook or race your way across whilst being pursued by a never-ending stream of bad guys. All in the name of the ultimate pirate treasure, Libertalia!
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
Rather than following Drake, this game’s protagonist is Chloe Frazer – voiced by the inimitable Claudia Black. With mercenary Nadine Ross, they must keep an ancient artefact out of the hands of a ruthless man who wants to use it to start a war.
This instalment of the Uncharted franchise released just a year after A Thief’s End, in 2017. Set on the Indian peninsula, this game takes place in an exotic blend of urban, jungle, and temple ruins. Plus, it uses updated systems for exploration, puzzles, and even cinematic combat, for the most thrilling gameplay yet.

These two iconic games from the Uncharted franchise have been brought up to date, with next-gen graphics and the advances in gaming technology the latest platforms offer. As a result, the dev team believe that have made the games even more immersive than before, with 3D audio and more.
