Gameplay

Taking place after the events of Homeworld 2, the third instalment sees the galaxy teetering on the brink of ruin. The Hyperspace Gate Network has failed and Karan, the key to the mystery which is threatening the future of the galaxy, has disappeared.

The fate of the galaxy rests in your hands. You must command your very own spacecraft, take to the stars, and uncover the truth. All whilst engaging in plenty of high-stakes interstellar combat against other deadly forces.

Outerworldly Combat

Homeworld 3 will test your real-time strategy skills. You’ll have complete freedom to do as you please, especially if means you defeat your enemies. Harness the scattered remains of an ancient civilisation to ambush your foes or hide your impressive fleet. You’ll need to carefully choose your plan for action. Will you attack head-on or secretly flank your enemies from above?

Be warned, you can’t control everything that happens in the galaxy. You’ll also need to defend your ships against dangerous space phenomena, such as particle storms and asteroid fields.

Does Homeworld 3 Include Multiplayer?

Homeworld 3 includes plenty of interstellar multiplayer gameplay for you and your friends to enjoy.

In the brand-new War Games mode, up to three players can take control of a fleet of ships and embark on combat challenges. You’ll need to claim powerful Artefacts to enhance your ships with more power, speed, and weaponry to further aid your success.

Alternatively, you can put your skills to the test in PvP. Fight it out against AI in skirmish matches or square off with human opponents in 1v1 matches, free-for-all, or team battles.

Is Homeworld 3 a PC Exclusive?

Homeworld 3 is currently only available to play on PC, but we hope to see a future release for consoles at some point.
