Get Ready for The NVIDIA 40 Series with These Compatible PC Cases!

NVIDIA RTX 40 Series

The NVIDIA RTX 40 Series boasts exceptional powerful and cutting-edge technology to power all your favourite AAA titles.

Powered by Ada Lovelace, the 3rd generation of RTX architecture, these graphics cards have been expertly crafted using a custom TSMC 4N process. Designed to deliver you 76 billion transistors, a whooping 48 million increase compared to the previous generation. Take advantage of this increase and enjoy a smooth, ultra-fast performance in both gaming and content creation.

What’s more, each card in the 40 Series comes armed with cutting-edge Ray Tracing and Tensor cores. As the third generation of RT cores, these have twice the ray-triangle throughput, resulting in incredible, hyper-realistic lighting and shadows for an immersive gaming experience. Whilst, the fourth generation of Tensor cores has been created to enhance NVIDIA’s built-in AI technology, such as DLSS.

Each card in the RTX 40 Series also comes equipped with a plethora of features designed to boost your performance. This includes Shader Execution Reordering (SER), NVIDIA Encoders (NVENC), and DLSS 3.0.

Graphics Card System Requirements

The RTX 40 Series requires a PCIe 4.0 lane, along with up to three or four expansion slots. The Founders edition 4080 and 4080 both measure up to 340mm x 137mm. However, this can vary between manufacturers and it’s crucial you check the specification list of both your case and the GPU.

Furthermore, the increase in power and performance comes with a high TDP. The RTX 40 Series has a Thermal Design Power of up to 450W. This means the majority of the 40 Series graphics cards will feature a large integrated heatsink and cooler to accommodate the increased thermal demands, resulting in the optimum temperature being maintained.

To ensure you can take full advantage of your NVIDIA RTX 40 Series card, your PC case must have enough GPU clearance and efficient cooling.
