Darktide Gameplay:
The dystopian city of Tertium is overrun with bloodthirsty foes in Warhammer 40K: Darktide. Venture into the deepest parts of the city where corruption and a sinister force are slowly taking control. Only you and your allies can seek out this enemy to regain control before everything crumbles into Chaos.
On your journey through Tertium, explore vast industrial factories, decaying city streets, and much more, all whilst battling against hordes of terrifying creatures and that pesky acid rainfall…
What’s more, Warhammer 40K: Darktide features a unique blend of melee and ranged combat to help you slash and bash your way through slews of enemies. From a chainsword to a lasgun, there is plenty in your arsenal to get your hands on.
Who Will You Be?
In Warhammer 40K: Darktide, you can unleash your creativity and craft your own unique character. Completely customise your character’s physical appearance, voice, origin, and select the class that perfectly suits your warrior.
Each class has a special blend of traits and skills that will offer certain advantages whilst in battle. There are four different classes, which are:
- Psyker: a magic-wielding class
- Veteran – Sharpshooter: a long-range class
- Ogryn: a tank, up-close range class
- Zealot – Preacher: a melee-range class
Does Warhammer 40K: Darktide feature Multiplayer?
Warhammer 40K: Darktide is an online multiplayer game. Up to four players can team up together to fight back against the hordes of creatures and save Tertium.
Is Warhammer 40K: Darktide a PC Exclusive?
On release, Warhammer 40K: Darktide will only be available to play on PC. The game is set to be available on XBOX Series X / S soon after this.
Developers, Fatshark have confirmed that there will no crossplay on launch. But who knows? It could come in the future!

To redeem your copy of the Imperial Edition you will need to have a qualifying GPU, along with a GeForce Experience and Steam account.
You will need to:
- Install your graphics card
- Update or install the latest version of GeForce Experience
- Log into GeForce Experience
- Go to the Account drop-down menu and select ‘REDEEM’
- Enter your bundle code
- Follow the instructions on screen to log into your Steam account
- Select ‘REDEEM’ for Warhammer 40K: Darktide Imperial Edition to your Steam account
