In Jurassic World Evolution 2, players return to their pre-historic worlds that are now packed with new, exciting gameplay and features. You can now enjoy an exclusive narrative campaign that features iconic characters from the franchise. Plus, with new locations, build features, and dinosaurs – there is so much more for you to get your claws on.
Alongside being released for PC – Jurassic World Evolution 2 will also be available on PS4, PS5, XBOX One, and XBOX series X/S. You can enjoy creating your very own Jurassic World regardless of your chosen platform.
What is Jurassic World Evolution 2 about?
Featuring a separate campaign mode – Jurassic World Evolution 2 takes place right after the jaw-dropping events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Your task will be to lead the DFW (Department of Fish and Wildlife) to contain the wild dinosaurs that are spread across the USA and Canada, whilst working alongside classic characters from the franchise, including Dr Ian Malcolm. Plus, he is even voiced by Jeff Goldblum in the game! Lead your expedition across different landscapes to hunt down the dinosaurs and complete varied challenges on your journey.
Does the game include different game modes?
Jurassic World Evolution 2 features two different game modes in addition to its campaign.
Chaos Theory
Have you ever sat and watched the Jurassic series and thought – I would handle this so much better than John Hammond or Simon Masrini ever did! Well, now you can.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 features a new twist on fan favourite events from the franchise. Engage in ‘what if’ scenarios where you are in the driver’s seat and have full control over events. Sandbox Mode
In classic Frontier style, Jurassic World Evolution 2 includes an incredible Sandbox mode. An upgrade from the previous game, your Jurassic Park management just got a lot more streamlined. Plus, new dinosaurs have been unleashed, along with staff members, such as Scientists and Veterinarians, you can even construct new buildings. Meet the demands of your dinosaurs and guests; create a Jurassic World that thrives!
The excitement doesn’t end here – with never-before-seen locations, you can now test your skills against environmental challenges. Ranging from forests, deserts, or rocky tundra, your creativity can run wild in Sandbox mode.
Does Jurassic World Evolution 2 include any new dinosaurs?
Rest assured, over 75 prehistoric species are coming to life. Featuring the highly requested flying dinosaurs, such as the Pteranodon and marine reptiles, including the Mosasaurus. In addition, to these new additions, the original fan-favourites from the first game will also be returning. Your dinosaurs will appear more realistic than ever before thanks to the new behaviours and interactions with other species. In addition to this, you can even utilise bioengineering to customise your dinosaurs with new colours, patterns, or to mix up their genomes to unlock exciting traits. Customise the infamous Indominus Rex into more of a terrifying beast to shake up your Jurassic World.
