With an already well-established line-up, the Kolink Rocket Series has a new addition. Introducing the Kolink Rocket Complex Mini-ITX Case. Its tower-style design was inspired by the Xbox Series X console and curated to hold all the best in high-end hardware. Kolink is treating us with the perfect balance between style and function. It’s not even Christmas yet!

Kolink Rocket Complex Epochal Design, Made for Modern Builds

Bold, Rocket Style

Making this case stand out as a member of the Kolink Rocket family are its iconic, hexagonal cut-outs and gunmetal grey finish. Once again bringing form and function together, these cut-outs enhance the natural airflow and look amazing while they are at it. As an aluminium chassis, the gunmetal grey is sleek and well suited to the overall design of the case.

Three of the panels utilise the aluminium and hexagon design, whilst the third is manufactured from 3mm tempered glass. What’s the point in using high-end hardware if you can’t show it off? The most striking aspect of this Mini-ITX case is its shape. Cuboid, the Kolink Rocket Complex’s footprint is roughly 21cm-squared, yet extends over double that in height and boasts a 20.4L volume. It may be dinky, but this case has all the room.

Hardware, Hardware, and More Hardware

To start with, the Kolink Rocket Complex can support a Mini-ITX motherboard, as suggested by its form factor. Utilising such narrow proportions, this is the only motherboard it can support. However, and I mean however, this case can hold 2.8 slot graphics cards up to 330mm long, which covers most of the models currently available. Plus, this is the first Kolink case to offer a PCIe 4.0 riser cable as standard. Once again, the shape does dictate that GPUs will need to be mounted vertically, but you can enjoy the latest in connectivity technology thanks to the inclusion of this cable.

At the bottom of the case, the PSU bracket can accommodate SFX power supplies. Should you require a higher wattage and larger PSU, this bracket can be removed and then there is room for an SFX-L. Also offering great flexibility is the drive bay. Able to host four 2.5” drives, whether HDD, SSD, or M.2, you have amazing options for drive combinations. Make your storage solution fast and extensive.

Airflow for Days

On its own, this case has incredible airflow. Paired with the conductive properties of aluminium, the passive heat transfer of this case is equally efficient. Thus, priming the Kolink Rocket Complex for an enthusiast system. Enhance the cooling capabilities of your gaming PC by adding a CPU cooler up to 110mm in height. Alternatively, if you prefer water-cooling, then this chassis can accommodate a 240mm AiO loop, with a CPU block up to 62.5mm tall.

However you keep your gaming PC cool, it will operate at peak temperature with the Kolink Rocket Complex

Premium Build

As this case is so narrow, how to install your hardware has been taken into careful consideration. All the panels, including the top, can be removed, granting you maximum access to the chassis interior. Taking this further, the Kolink Rocket Complex is held together with screws rather than rivets thus making it far easier to strip back. You’ll be able to install your AiO and PSU without a hitch. Drop a comment below if you’re brave enough to strip it back to the extreme!
