Recommendation for a quiet power supply

Hi all,

Currently have a 3090FE on it's way (finally), my current power supply is a Super Flower Leadex III ARGB 750W 80 PLUS Gold Modular Power Supply - Black

The power supply runs quiet and I've never really noticed and increase in noise during gaming on the 3070, but I'm unsure if it's going to be enough to handle the power draw. I'm sure it's already having issues when I boot up my wheel for racing, as it sometimes reboots if I startup in the wrong order.

The biggest issue I have is sound, as it needs to be very quiet due to the work I do.

Current Spec >

An advice would be most appreciated, could do with getting one ordered today.

3090 FE is capable to over 550W transient draw, so would definitely recommend at least 850W PSU.

Also if you're doing anything putting CPU under full all core load, better have good case airflow because of wimpy CPU VRM of that board.

Thanks for that, it appears that that they thought it had the lowest VRM temps.

Luckily I have a lot of very large quiet fans in the case, it hardly makes a sound and the CPU never goes above 72 on full load.

Tried to order a Seasonic 1000W but it was out of stock, ended up doing a lot of reading and settled on a Dark Power 12.

Cheers for the input.
