Yeah looking about, stocks are plentiful, even of the 64s.

Vega 56/64 would be worth a punt at their respective launch prices. Can't really recommend them at current pricing, though.

Nope, they just don't make any sense, ref 56 for £500, or custom cooled oc'd 1070 for £380, or a faster custom 1080 for the same price.

A ref 64 at £540/£690, over a custom 1080 at £500, or a custom much faster Ti at only £9 (in stock) more than the ref 64 AIO version.

Does it though ?, when a custom cooled overclocked 1070, is £120 cheaper than a ref 56, and a custom 1080, is £200 cheaper than a ref 64, as to get around its performance, you have to pay £700 for the ref AIO, so thats either £120, or £200 you'll have saved by buying the Nvidia cards, which you could put towards the g-sync screen.

But I like my monitors and I'd rather not have to put anything extra toward them. Vega isn't £500, not that I'd pay £440 for any graphics cards. Well maybe for a dual GPU card I would, but even then. It crazy to argue value when prices keep climbing from already over inflated points.

The 1070 should sub £250 and the 1080 sub £350. At those prices they make sense.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £1,590.07
(includes shipping: £11.10)

or if you save up the extra and the power supply is good enough(had one myself, but nothing powerful of fit) then get the 1080ti

As I said earlier, AMD/Radeon goes out of the window as I wouldn't trust them any more. Also, what's the difference of different variations of the same GPU like Asus GTX 1080 , Palit GTX 1080 etc ? Except specs that is. I thought that only NVIDIA had rights to sell their GTX 1070 etc.

In addition to my GPU, would someone recommend a good 1440p monitor for another £500 - £600 if that's possible within this price point. Tho, I don't want anything bigger than 28 Inch as I don't have space for it as well as I want IPS Panel.

Mate, you own a "Gigabyte" Radeon RX480 and query whether other manufacturers can make Nvidia cards? Of course they can in the same way as they can manufacture AMD GPU's and Intel and AMD motherboards.

Oh, and the main difference is in the cooling solution possibly paired with binned GPU's allowing for higher overclocks due to lower temps or lower voltages for each level of GPU speed.

What the issue with your rx480? Gaming at 1080p 60hz my trusty old space heater of a r9-290 is within touching distance once overclocked of your rx480 and it’s absolutely fine at that resolution, it even plays VR games perfectly well!
