Update 1: Renamed: The PHANTEKS Enthoo Luxe 2 is now called Enthoo 719!
Phanteks today announced that they will be changing their Enthoo Luxe 2 product name to “Enthoo 719”. Phanteks recently received a letter from Thermaltake suggesting that the Enthoo Luxe 2 product name has similarities to their "Luxa 2" mark, a mobile accessory brand. Phanteks strongly disagrees with this finding as the Luxe 2 is simply an iteration of the original, a computer chassis. Phanteks never had the intent to cause confusion by using the name described.
Phanteks says, “We would like to move on and spend less time on this matter and concentrate more on creating innovative products for our users. Thank you for your understanding.”
The Enthoo 719 will have no changes to the physical product other than its name.
Original contribution: PHANTEKS Enthoo 719 Big-Tower: All the Performance You Can Handle!
The PHANTEKS Enthoo 719 is a case built for enthusiasts. The Full-Tower case resembles its predecessor, at least at first glance; yet it has undergone an array of refinements and upgrades. Motherboards up to SSI-EEB/E-ATX will fit, along with dual power supplies, a second Mini-ITX system or vertical graphics cards. The case’s versatility also extends to users‘ choice of custom water cooling gear – catering even to professionals in this respect.
The Features of the PHANTEKS Enthoo 719:
Superbly designed Full-Tower case, supports motherboards up to SSI-EEB and E-ATX
Enables the installation of dual systems with the help of the included brackets
Tempered glass side door for easy access
Total of 6x 140- or 15x 120 mm fans possible
Radiators: max. 2x 480 mm, 2x 360 mm and 1x 140 mm
Graphics cards up to 503 mm, vertical installation supported, CPU coolers up to 195 mm
4x 3,5- and 11x 2,5“ slots, up to 12x 3,5” possible
I/O Panel with 1x USB 3.1 Type-C- and 4x USB 3.0 Type-A
Needless to say, the case doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to keeping up with the latest trends either. As such, the Enthoo 719 includes a large Tempered Glass side panel, enabling users to enjoy an unobstructed view of the installed hardware. Helping to give these parts the combination of lighting and looks they deserve, the front- and top of the case, in addition to the PSU shroud, include addressable pre-installed RGB-LEDs. These can be controlled either via the motherboard or the I/O panel. The I/O panel includes, among other things, four USB 3.0 ports along with one USB 3.1 Type C connector. For the second system, an additional power button is available.
Any preconceptions you may have had when it comes to the capabilities of the PHANTEKS Enthoo 719 can go straight out the window: graphics cards up to 503 mm in length are supported, along with CPU coolers up to 195 mm tall. Up to eleven 2,5“ drives will fit with ease, and the same goes for up to twelve 3,5” drives (four by default). A bracket for a second system or a second power supply comes as standard to allow users to install their graphics cards in a vertical orientation. Rubberised cable ducts, velcro loops, and an array of covers help ensure users enjoy unparalleled cable management and, as a result, an incredibly clean look. The importance of which isn’t to be overlooked, given PHANTEKS’ decision to use a stunning tempered glass side panel.
As a case for enthusiasts, the Enthoo 719 is without parallel – designed from the ground up with custom water cooling in mind. Need multiple radiators? No proble: the front supports 480/420 mm radiators, the roof 360/280 mm radiators, and a 360 mm radiator in the bottom. If that’s still not enough, there’s space for a 480 mm rad next to the motherboard tray. Additionally, the front of the case along with the roof include a variety of openings for mounting fill- and drain ports, thereby simplifying the process of water cooling. Alternatively, up to 15 traditional fans can be installed; with these being controlled via the integrated PWM-signal fan controller.
