What is Shadow Warrior 3 About?
The third instalment of the Shadow Warrior franchise, you play as Lo Wang, a wise-cracking, fallen corporate shogun. With his former boss Orochi Zilla, who was then his nemesis and is now his sidekick, Wang must complete his mission to recapture an ancient dragon. One that he absolutely accidentally freed from its eternal prison. Travelling to uncharted corners of the world and fighting yokai at every turn, it’s going to take some work to fend off the impending apocalypse.
Shadow Warrior 3 is a first-person shooter with a twist. As well as, an eclectic mix of firearms, Wang takes a katana into battle and can even wield some magic. New to this game, he is also equipped with a grappling hook which you can use to fling enemies into the many environmental traps. This nimble character can also air dash, wall run, and double jump across the battlefield and areas to explore.
Set in neo-feudal Japan, this game takes place in a beautiful Asian land that perfectly blends magic, ancient samurai technology, and excessive gore. Take down demonic yokai with killer finishing moves and enjoy the picturesque landscape. It’s an odd juxtaposition, but it works!
