Phanteks have done it again, with a stunning addition to the NV line-up, the NV5! Near seamless tempered glass panelling, DRGB lighting, and ample support for modern hardware? Sign. Me. Up. How about a stylish vertical GPU bracket that can tilt? Check. Or a lighting kit that takes your gaming PC to masterwork status? Double check. Want more details? Oh, we can provide!

Showcase Your Style

The Phanteks NV5 is a mid-tower PC case that has been designed to showcase your high-end hardware whilst providing ample room and support. The spacious interior has been carefully crafted to accommodate for those chonky 12VHPWR cables, comprehensive cooling, and spicy components.

We know it can hold the hardware, but how does the Phanteks NV5 show it all off? Both the front and side panel are tempered glass, offering a near-seamless view of the interior. No fans or mesh to squint through, just uninterrupted glory.

To top it off, there is DRGB lighting on the PSU shroud that can be configured utilising the Colour and Mode buttons on the I/O panel. No software needed. What’s more, you have some choice with aesthetics too, as this case is available in black and white.

Hardware Support

We’re off to a good start, as the NV5 is absolutely gorgeous. Now what about hardware? This mid-tower chassis can support Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, and even E-ATX motherboards, offering incredible flexibility for your gaming PC’s foundation. There are a couple limitations for E-ATX motherboards; firstly, the included GPU bracket cannot be utilised with this size motherboard, and the maximum size supported is 280mm. Regardless, that is still an impressive number of motherboards that can be integrated within this case.

Moving onto the GPU, there are seven expansion slots to support their installation, along with other PCI devices. For the graphics card itself, the NV5 can accommodate graphics cards 440mm long and 170mm wide – plenty for space for an NVIDIA RTX 40 Series card! You can even vertically mount your GPU, with the correct additional kit (sold separately).

Final Details

The Phanteks NV5 stays looking fresh and tidy, thanks to the inclusion of a dedicated PSU shroud. This is where the DRGB lighting shines from, and the cover is entirely removable. Fancy and easy access! There is space for PSUs up to 230mm long, once again offering optimal compatibility with the current market.

Not to skimp on any hardware support, the Phanteks NV5 comes with a hinged drive tray, that can support either three 3.5″ HDDs or four 2.5″ SSDs. Craft a storage solution to suit your needs.

In addition to the DRGB buttons mentioned before, the I/O panel features one USB-C, two USB 3.0 ports, and an audio jack.

Cool in Style

Space for up to eight fans!

Style? Check. Hardware support? Check. How about cooling? For starters, the Phanteks NV5 can hold up to eight 120mm fans, providing amazing airflow to all your components. The top panel and opening to the right of the motherboard can hold three 120mm fans, whilst the rear panel holds a singular fan. The final fan can be mounted on the bottom panel and be used as dedicated air cooling for your GPU.

Alternatively, the top and right-hand space can be utilised for 360mm radiators. In fact, the top panel has a dedicated 63mm space especially for radiators. A very cool solution, indeed!

Finally, there is 180mm clearance for CPU coolers, providing ample compatibility with a whole range of devices.

With the Phanteks NV5, you can craft the perfect cooling solution to show off and keep your components at optimum temperature.

Stylish Additions

The NV5 is a glorious chassis, but you can take it that one step beyond. How about showing off that magnificent GPU you have? Well, you can really flaunt it with Phanteks Premium Vertical GPU Bracket. This innovative piece of hardware fits into place over your expansion slots, so you stand your GPU on its side.

But that’s not all, no sir. This bracket can tilt! In fact, it can tilt from 15 degrees to 30 degrees, to give your gaming PC a unique style. Don’t worry about your graphics card not being supported, either. With clearance for 365mm long GPUs and a moveable clamping bracket, this bit of kit is compatible with a wide range of graphics cards currently on the market!

That’s the GPU put on display perfectly, now to add extra DRGB lighting. The Premium DRGB Lighting Kit is a simple-to-install upgrade that perfectly complements the lighting around the PSU shroud. Coming in four pieces, three strips are installed in rigid brackets can be mounted around the edges of the tempered glass. The fourth lighting strip is within a stylish motherboard cover, which not only draws the eye to your hardware, but also hides the cable runs.
