All NVIDIA graphics cards come equipped with a complete suite of cutting-edge features, designed for gamers, streamers, and content creators alike. That’s why we’ve decided to create our very own blog series, titled ‘’NVIDIA Inside Look’’, designed to take a closer look at these ground-breaking technologies.

In this article, we’ll be showcasing NVIDIA GeForce Experience, detailing what exactly it is, how you can utilise it to optimise your experience, and of course our top GeForce Experience compatible gaming PCs.

What is NVIDIA GeForce Experience?

NVIDIA GeForce Experience is your one-stop shop, allowing you to get the most out of your graphics card and enjoy those realistic visuals you desire. All you need to do is download the desktop app and unlock access to a wide range of performance enhancing features.

This includes:

  • The latest game ready graphics drivers
  • All-in-one launcher for all your favourite games – compatible with popular game services, such as Steam, allowing you to add and organise all your games in one place.
  • NVIDIA Shadow Play – features dedicated stream overlays and handy tools for recording, broadcasting your gameplay, or taking screenshots.
  • Built-in image scaling – allows you to get as much FPS as possible from your games by rendering your visuals at low resolutions before upscaling them. Enjoy high-def sharper images, without the risk of notable performance loss.
  • Access to NVIDIA Ansel – a dedicated photo mode that allows you to take professional-grade in-game photographs.
  • NVIDIA Freestyle – change the look and mood of your game by applying filters and adjusting colour saturation.
  • Optimised in-game settings – makes configuring your in-game settings even easier by doing it for you!

I used to use GeForce Experience to record video clips but stopped when you had to create an account and log in just to use it.
Version 2.11.4 was the last pre-login version and worked well for me.
After that OBS was the one I used for recording but the Windows 10 built in video recorder works well and requires no set up.
Nvidia graphics cards are great but the Geforce Experience looks too bloated to me with things like that all in one game launcher, which I would never think of using.
Likewise when it auto downloads the latest drivers and creates problems with games not working as they should, another thing to turn off.
It’s probably ok for streamers where I can see you would need to log in to a service but otherwise for local PC stuff not for me.
