We can’t get enough of the upcoming space RPG, Starfield, especially after it was teased at the recent XBOX Games Showcase.
September 6 can’t come quick enough and since we’re already at the edge of our seats awaiting Starfield’s release, we’ve put together this guide detailing everything there is to know. This includes gameplay, the official PC system specifications, and of course our top PCs to play!

Interstellar Gameplay:
Set in the year 2230, humanity has ventured beyond the confines of our solar system, creating new settlements on different planets. Join Constellation, the last remaining group of space explorers, on the hunt for rare artifacts throughout the galaxy. Venture through the stars and explore more than a thousand planets, each full of bustling cities, dangerous bases, vast landscapes, and a diverse range of characters.
You’ll be able to team up with various factions and embark on a series of challenging quests across the Settled Systems. Discover unique fauna, flora, and resources that you can use to craft a vast variety of items. Including medicine, food, weapons, and other vital equipment. What’s more, you can even invest any raw materials you find into intelligent research projects to uncover unique crafting recipes.
On every planet you visit, you can opt to build outposts, hire a crew to extract materials, and even establish your own cargo links across the galaxy.
Command Your Ship:
Pilot and command the ultimate spaceship that you can personalise and modify with unique upgrades, weaponry, and shields.
As you traverse through deep space in your own ship, you’ll soon encounter high-stakes dogfights, take on unexpected missions, dock at mysterious star stations, and even commandeer enemy ships to expand your ever-growing collection of spaceships.
To help defend you against various enemies, there is a new refined combat system and an arsenal of weaponry. This includes long-range rifles, laser weapons, and even demolitions. You can modify all the different weapon types to perfectly suit your gameplay style.
In-depth Character Customisation:
Before you begin your adventures through space, you’ll need to first build your own story. Decide who you want to be by customising your character’s, background, traits, and their appearance.
Does Starfield Support Real-Time Ray Tracing or AI DLSS?
Bethesda hasn’t officially confirmed whether Starfield will include support for features such as Real-Time Ray Tracing or AI DLSS. However, since most modern day AAA titles do, it’s extremely likely that Starfield will follow suit.
This means you can enjoy venturing across different space frontiers in stunning hyper-realistic quality, with immersive lighting and shadows, along with buttery-smooth frame rates.
Is Starfield a Multiplayer Game?
Starfield is set to be a single-player experience only. However, this doesn’t have to stop you from sharing your adventures across the galaxy with your friends. You can opt to live streaming your gameplay.

Is Starfield a PC Exclusive?
Starfield is set to be released on September 6 for both PC, XBOX Series X and S. It will also be available to play on the XBOX Games Pass.
