Talk caravans

Probably not the best time to buy one but I'm after a caravan for the family. 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs.
Would like a nice awning also. Think my car has max towing capacity of 1500kg. Complete novice so any advice and suggestions would be great.

What car have you got? Because 1500kg isn't a very good towing capacity and your going to be limited to small lighter caravans.

What license do you have? If you don't have B&E max unit will be 3.5tonne.

Not the best time to be buying as prices are sky high.

If you are pushing 20k check out a new Bailey Phoenix 650.

Sorry just seen 10-15k...this budget and with prices as they are will not get you a good value caravan.

For example £9k got me this 2015 dealer special last March and is now being sold around £13-£14k!

What are your thoughts on financing one? Might be worth looking at a credit card/loan to make up the difference to a new one. Prices on new have not increased anywhere near the used prices and will get a brand new caravan instead of up to 10 years old!
