Hi I'm looking to do a complete new build. I have already picked up a Strix Gtx 1070 graphics card so I am in the market for a new case, PSU, Motherboard, Ram and processor. Picking up SSD from local store so I'm sorted for that. I'm looking for a good cooling system and I was hoping to have a Full Size windowed case to show off components.

My Current build is an NZXT Phantom Enthusiast case, Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 7 Mobo, Intel i7-4790k CPU @ 4.GHz, 16gig DDR3 Ram and a 700 watt PSU.

I'm looking at a budget of £1200.00 Max but it would be nice to keep it a little bit lower.

It's been a while since I've upgraded anything so I'm struggling to pick parts...

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers!

Nothing currently, I've got the upgrade bug and I'm planning on passing the old one onto my other half so we can game together.

Ah right ok.

Here is a Kaby Lake one with a Full Tower case and a 240mm water cooler.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £941.64
(includes shipping: £14.70)

Or if you fancy a Ryzen build

Both specs support SLI although you would need a 750W psu for that. If you just plan on running a single gpu then you can go with a cheaper Z270 board for the Intel spec or a B350 one for the Ryzen.

You could also drop the R7 1700 down to the R5 1600 if you are just gaming.
