Hench Updates for 2023

Infin8 Obelisk

Kicking things off is the Infin8 Obelisk. The Infin8 range is inspired by the 8Pack rather than crafted by him, but still packs in phenomenal performance and has been upgraded to feature the latest cutting-edge hardware.

Hypercube

Frame R8

Yes, even the wall-mounted masterpiece, the 8Pack Frame R8, has received an update! Still built utilising only AMD hardware, the processor, memory, and graphics card have all been upgraded.  

Now featuring an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X and the flagship AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX. Utilise both Zen 4 and RDNA 3 architecture for superior operation, with a 54% increase in performance per watt, and a suite of intelligent built-in features, including AMD Infinity Cache and FSR 2.0. Cryocube

The Cryocube is the most recent of 8Pack’s PCs to receive an upgrade. Launched only last year, it featured an Intel 12^th Gen CPU and NVIDIA RTX 30 Series graphics card.  

Fast forward to 2023, the Cryocube has now been boosted to include an Intel 13^th Gen i9 13900K CPU, which features twenty-four cores and thirty-two threads, along with a pre-configured overclock. The latest Intel 13^th processors include the re-engineered hybrid P- and E-core architecture to deliver blisteringly fast performance and enhanced efficiency. Both of which are intelligently managed by the integrated Thread Director.  

The second upgrade made to the Cryocube is the graphics card. Moving on from an NVIDIA RTX 3090, this powerhouse PC now includes an RTX 4090. Enjoy stunning photo-realistic lighting and shadows, buttery smooth frame rates, and a whole suite of cutting-edge drives designed to enhance your content creation. 

Fear not, we’re not robbing the Cryocube of its frosty aesthetic. It’s keeping its good looks with the white Lian Li O11D accented with blue and white RGB lighting. Supernova

The legendary workstation PC, the 8Pack Supernova was not long updated with an 5^th Gen AMD Threadripper and high-powered octo-channel DDR4 memory. These upgrades remain the same, but to take things that one step further, 8Pack replaced the graphics cards. 

Instead of dual NVIDIA RTX 3090s configured in SLI, the 8Pack Supernova now features two unlinked NVIDIA RTX 4090s. Whilst they might not be bridged anymore, these graphics cards are still overclocked to provide outstanding throughput, which is perfect for intensive and demanding tasks such as 3D rendering, 4K video editing, and simulations.  

If two NVIDIA RTX 4090s is too much power – like there such a thing! – you can also opt for a singular RTX 4090 or an NVIDIA Quadro RTX A6000 graphics card. The latter choice can’t be overclocked but does pack a whopping 48GB of onboard video memory.

Comet

Now marked as the 8Pack Comet MK2, this extreme overclocked PC has also received some hefty upgrades.  

Making the move from Team Blue to Team Red, the Comet now sports an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D CPU. Meteoroid

Another celestial masterpiece, the 8Pack Meteoroid MK2 has been brought up to speed. This Mini-ITX powerhouse has received updates to the CPU, RAM, and GPU.  

Now sporting an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X, equipped with Zen 4 architecture, twelve cores, and twenty-four threads, this processor boasts incredibly fast performance.
