Last year saw the return of 8Pack’s Hypercube gaming PC. A behemoth in its own right, 8Pack and our team of technical experts have retooled the Hypercube to create an incredible gaming PC with outstanding performance and a frosty aesthetic. Introducing the 8Pack Cryocube. Overclocked by the big man himself, this elite tier PC includes a 14th generation Intel Raptor Lake CPU, a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, and DDR5 RAM capable of frequencies up to 7200MHz. Expect some phenomenal gaming with this machine! Plus, with a fully custom water-cooling system from EK Water Blocks, this pre-build gaming PC will stay at optimum temperature whilst creating minimal noise. Work, create, and play on the Cryocube.
Packed with outstanding hardware, the 8Pack Cryocube is the latest gaming pre-built gaming PC to come from the champion overclocker. Designed in conjunction with the technical experts here at Overclockers UK, 8Pack has cherry picked every component of this gaming PC to guarantee cohesive and smooth performance. Plus, each machine will be overclocked by the big man, himself, pushing the hardware to its maximum potential. The CPU even features two overclock profiles that you can switch between to optimise your performance. 4K gaming, complex digital rendering, and streaming are all a cinch with the 8Pack Cryocube.
For its foundation, this gaming PC is equipped with the ASUS Z790 Formula ATX Motherboard. This motherboard boasts PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 support, making it compatible with all the latest hardware. With its impressive power stage distribution and integrated thermal solution, the Formula is a fantastic motherboard to use in an overclocked system. Plus, the Z790 chipset and LGA 1700 socket are compatible with the latest generation of Intel Core Processors.
At the heart of the Cryocube, 8Pack has opted for an Intel Core i9-14900K CPU. This 14th generation processor has twenty-four cores, thirty-two threads, and has been tuned with two profiles, each designed to optimise different workloads. Elevating processor performance, Intel’s Raptor Lake technology utilises the advanced hybrid architecture that we first law in Alder Lake CPUs, with the i9-14900K having eight P- and sixteen E-Cores for enhanced performance. The P- and E-cores work efficiently with Thread Director and Windows 11 integration to intelligently assign cores and workloads.
Truly elevating your gaming, the 8Pack Cryocube packs a punch with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card. An absolute titan when it comes to graphical prowess, this GPU utilises NVIDIA’s Lovelace technology to render every frame in phenomenal detail. Third-gen ray-tracing cores replicate light movement, whilst fourth-gen Tensor cores realistically shade the images on screen. Whether 3D rendering, 4K gaming, or exploring the virtual world, enjoy hyperrealism at its best. The finishing touch, this graphics card has been overclocked by 8Pack and is vertically mounted to take centre stage.
The last piece of finely tuned hardware in the 8Pack Cryocube is the RAM. Equipped with TeamGroup Delta 32GB DDR5 RAM, this kit has been boosted up to a blistering 7200MHz. Should you wish to use the Cryocube for complex digital rendering or as a workstation, then you can upgrade to 64GB of DDR5 RAM.
With such premium hardware, the 8Pack Cryocube needs an extensive thermal solution to keep this gaming PC working at peak performance. Much like the Hypercube, this system features a fully custom, hard-tubing loop that utilises EK Water Blocks hardware and their clear CryoFuel. The whole system is fed into the bespoke Tech Forge distro-plate integrated within the front panel of the chassis, which features 8Pack’s iconic branding. The graphics card even has a dedicated waterblock.
Additionally, there are two 360mm radiators mounted on the top panel and beside the motherboard to draw away and ventilate excess heat. This loop is so incredibly efficient and effective, that the radiator fans need only ever be set to low speeds. Thanks to its careful design in CAD programming, the 8Pack Cryocube has natural airflow, which these radiator fans bolster.
The Cryocube always stays cool and quiet.
Providing you with ample space for games, media, and files alike, the 8Pack Cryocube is equipped with two high-density SSDs. These two WD 2TB NVMe M.2 SSDs facilitate read and write speeds of 5,000MB/s and 4,400MB/s, respectively. Loading screens and slow boot times will be a thing of the past. Plus, with additional storage options, you can ensure you never run out of storage space!
Powering this phenomenal machine is a 1200W ATX 3.0 power supply. This beast natively supports PCIe 5.0 and the 12VHPWR connector. As such, this PSU efficiently supplies power to all the components and is perfectly equipped to handle the power demands of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU.
Earning its name, the 8Pack Cryocube has a cool, frosty aesthetic. With a custom lightbox and RGB accessories, from the likes of Phanteks, the lighting is set to a crisp blend of whites and blues. This lighting can be controlled utilising Asus Aura, so you can make your own sub-zero look. Even the cables have been matched to meet the theme. The system includes custom braided cables, they are a selection of white and light blue, shaped into smooth curves. Excess cable is maintained behind the motherboard backplate to keep this gaming PC looking sleek.
Encased in the Lian Li O11D XL White Full Tower, the Cryocube utilises white hardware at every opportunity, making it a cool addition to any gaming environment. Plus, sporting the bold 8Pack branding, everyone will know what a powerhouse machine you have.
As with a lot of the gaming PC available at Overclockers UK, there are numerous customisation options available for the 8Pack Cryocube. In addition to the previously stated CPU, RAM, and storage upgrades, cosmetic adjustments are available for the cables, cooling, and colour scheme. Cable braid colours can be selected from the Pexxon MDPC-X range. It should be noted that any adjustments and upgrades may accrue additional costs and affect the lead time.
For such a complex machine, the minimum lead time for the 8Pack Cryocube is 36 days. This may be affected by busy periods and 8Pack’s work commitments. Our team will always endeavour to meet this deadline and keep you informed of the system build progress.
