If you thought the fish tank case has reached its peak, the Lian Li O11 Vision is here to prove you wrong.

Nothing to Hide Here

It’s time to show everyone how good your building skills really are, with the Lian Li O11 Vision. An innovative PC chassis that flaunts your hardware in style. For it features not one, not two, but three stunning tempered glass panels! Alongside the standard side panel seen in many widely used chassis and the front panel that Lian Li made popular with their O11 Series, the Vision adds another glass panel to the top of the case.

These three panels don’t even need any of the supporting pillars or struts common amongst many fish tank cases. Instead Lian Li utilises a clever key lock mechanism which sits in the corners of each of the tempered glass panels. These lock together holding the panels firmly in place and are rated to support up to 35kg, more than enough to cope with any day-to-day knocks. To put this in to context, an average male Golden Retriever weighs between 31kg to 36kg, so your bestest boy could get up on this case and be safe. Don’t ask why he would, just know it’d be adorable! Also, we do not recommend letting your doggo, or any animal in fact stand on top of your case.

What’s more, you can show off your GPU in style, as Lian Li has released a new universal GPU mounting kit alongside the Vision. This kit is constructed from premium steel and boasts four expansion slots, ensuring compatibility with the largest graphics cards available today. Additionally, the included Gen 4 PCIe riser cable allows your GPU to operate with no loss in performance.

Ok Maybe There is Something to Hide

As with the other O11 Series PC cases, the Lian Li O11 Vision has a dual chamber design. The main chamber is where the stars of your gaming PC such as the GPU, CPU, motherboard and such reside. Whereas in the second chamber at the rear, there is space for the workhorses of a computer, namely the PSU, storage, controllers, and a whole lot of cables.

For power supplies, the O11 Vision can accommodate 220mm models. What’s different about the Vision is that part of the PSU chamber protrudes outside of the case. This innovative design idea provides extra room inside the chassis for cable management helping to reduce strain on cable connectors.

When it comes to storage, there are multiple options available, with a maximum of five drives. The O11 Vision boasts two removable drive cages, which can each facilitate a 2.5″ SSD or a 3.5″ HDD. These cages can be completely removed for extra space to manage cables. A further three 2.5″ SSDs can be mounted to the main cable cover, which swings out of the way to provide access to your cables.

Speaking of wiring, the O11 Vision features many handy options for creating clean cable runs to your hardware. There are multiple passthroughs to the main chamber, which each feature silicone grommets, helping to keep your cables safe from rubbing against the hard steel of the case. Alongside this, the Vision also comes with two dual-layered cable clips, that can hold all your cables in place whilst separating the large from the small to minimise any chance for them to become entangled.

Plenty of Airflow

After you’ve had your sit-down from taking in the beauty of the O11 Vision, you may start to think, “Hang on a minute, how does the air get through those solid bits of glass?”. Well, no need to worry. Those clever boffins at Lian Li have it all sorted, without changing the physical characteristics of glass to make it permeable to air.

For one, the Lian Li O11 Vision boasts some 27mm tall feet, that give any fans mounted in the bottom of the case ample access to fresh air. Also included in the base of this PC case is a removable bracket, that can facilitate a 360mm radiator alongside up to three 140mm fans. Additionally, to prevent any dust from entering through the fan vents, the Vision is equipped with a fine mesh filter that can be easily removed for cleaning.

The other intake for the Vision is the side fan bracket, which utilises the air channelled from the rear chamber. With its reversible design, the bracket offers a wide range of options when it comes to a cooling setup. For the ultimate cooling potential, you can install a 360mm radiator and six 120mm fans laid out in a push pull configuration.

Both these options are ideally suited for intake. For exhaust, you have two options depending on whether you’ve installed your motherboard tray in its “high” or “low mode”. In the high mode, you can mount a 120mm fan at the rear of the case for exhaust. Meanwhile, in the low mode, there is room for dual 120mm fans or even a 240mm radiator.

The Vision is a spacious bad boi. You’ve got 455mm GPU and 167mm CPU cooler clearance to play with. Should be more than enough room!

I was thinking more about cooling than space

There’s plenty of support for fans and radiators. You should be able to engineer a thermal solution to keep up with that hardware.
