We all love the Lian Li O11D EVO, but how do you improve upon this masterpiece of case design? You make it bigger of course! Introducing, the Lian Li O11D EXO XL.

Everything about the O11D EVO XL has been enhanced. Bigger compartments, bigger airflow, bigger radiator support. With this chassis, you can build that hench gaming PC.

Room for Everything

The engineers at Lian Li must’ve looked at their design documents for the O11D EVO and gone this is perfect, how do we improve upon it? Obviously, one of them chimed in with a “give them more perfection”, so they hit the upscale button and made it 38% larger. Leading to the Lian Li O11D EXO XL!

Upgrading this case to a chonky boi, the Lian Li O11D EVO XL is large enough for any hardware you can dream of. Wanna throw in that powerhouse NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090? No problem, the O11D EVO XL has clearance for days. In fact, it has 460mm GPU clearance. Wanna keep those thermals real low, but don’t want to go water cooling? Not a problem, with 167mm of clearance you’ve got space for a mega air cooler. Maybe you do want water cooling, go nuts with it! You can fit not one, not two, but three 420mm radiators comfortably at the same time in the O11D EVO XL.

It’s not just a party in the front though, the rear chamber is also taking it to the max with its increased size. Back here, your power supply and storage will have space to breathe. The Lian Li O11D EVO XL features an innovative mid mounting point for the PSU that supports an ATX power supply. Perfect for supplying all the power needs of your gaming PC.

Located above and below the PSU are two drive cages, which can each hold two storage drives, either 2.5″ SSDs or 3.5″ HDDs. Even better, you can keep these drives cool as there is room for a 15mm thick 120mm fan to be installed on both cages. But four storage drives aren’t enough, now, are they? Lian Li certainly doesn’t think so! They included three more mounting points for 2.5″ SSDs to the side of the PSU and drive cages, for a total of seven possible drives!

I Feel Like Making Changes

One of the main factors that made the Lian Li O11D EVO so popular was how customisable it is. You can reverse it, change the orientation of the motherboard, and even move the front I/O location. Well, the O11D EVO XL has all these customisation options, and more!

Black gaming PC, with upright mounted GPU

Take your graphics card for example, why settle for a horizontal or vertical mount? With this chassis, you can stand that baby upright! To do this you’ll need the Lian Li Upright Bracket (more on this later) which installs your graphics card to the side fan bracket. This will give your gaming PC a unique look and you can still mount cooling fans behind your GPU to provide direct cooling. Push your graphics card even harder!

Thanks to the tempered glass front and side panelling, you have an outstanding view of your graphics card, wherever you choose to mount it. What’s more, the support pillar is completely removable, providing an uninterrupted, panoramic showcase of all your gaming hardware.

To help ensure you can build the cleanest gaming PC, that huge rear compartment really comes in handy. Whether you are a stickler for creating tidy cable runs or just like to stuff those pesky wires out the way, you’ll have more than enough room for both. Plus, with the inclusion of three versatile dual-layer cable clips, perfectly managing your cables has never been easier.

Accessories for the Ultimate Build

Alongside this fantastic case, Lian Li has some accessories that you can use for taking it to even greater heights. These accessories include an Upright GPU bracket, as well as a 900mm PCIe 4.0 riser cable.

As mentioned before, the Lian Li Upright GPU Bracket attaches to the side fan bracket, which can easily be removed from the case via a quick release latch. Once out, it is a simple matter of installing your graphics card. Mounting is as simple as slotting the bracket back into place. The bracket can hold cards that measure 358mm long, 150mm wide, and 80mm thick, giving you plenty of options on what GPU to choose from. What’s more, the fan bracket can be turned upside down, meaning you have a choice of two orientations for your graphics card, one with the I/O at the bottom and the other with it at the top.

Now, the long boi Lian Li 900mm PCIe 4.0 Riser Cable is the perfect solution for hiding another cable in the Lian Li O11D EVO XL. The added length of this cable allows you to route the cable behind the motherboard tray. From here, you can easily reach a GPU that has been installed on the side fan bracket. Even better, this cable has been constructed from highly flexible materials, making it easy to manage. This cable utilises PCIe Gen 4 technology, which delivers a fantastic 31.5GB/s of data transmission. As such, your graphics card will be able to perform almost the same as if it were directly mounted to your motherboard.
