What do I need to work in my home office?

To be able to work from home you first need a PC or a notebook. Your internet connection is also just as important. It also depends on whether you have access to remotely log in to your office PC or whether you have access to the software and programs you need on your own system. Programs such as Teamviewer or AnyDesk allow you to connect to your office PC remotely. Once you have established a connection, you can now crack on using your familiar desktop in the workplace.

If you don't currently have access to a notebook or an office PC, you can buy an office PC for around £500. A monitor is available for around £100 and peripherals such as a mouse and keyboard can be bought from only £20. Also, remember office furniture and office supplies used for work can be tax-deductible! You can more about this on the HMRC website
