What Power Cable Do I Need?

Most external cables are often referred to as simply kettle leads. However, only the C13 Power Cable is technically called this. Featuring three pins with two parallel and one slightly lower in the middle, this cable is usually used for TVs or PC power supplies.
C15 or Hot Condition Power Cables are visually similar to the C13 kettle lead. However, the feature a groove between the two lower pins and are rated for high temperatures.
Often simply referred to as Cloverleaf Power Cables, C5 connectors again feature three pins which are circular in shape and close together.
Finally, the C7 or Figure 8 Power Lead is most commonly found as the connector for some laptop power bricks.
